Thanks so much for popping by today. It is always very much appreciated.
Today I thought I would share with you one of the cards I created a few weeks ago for a FB Live. You can join us in our Stamp, Ink, Paper Live group if you wish.
I’m not sure about you but I find sponging one of the most relaxing things to do in crafting besides fussy cutting & colouring lol. There are so many possibilities & so much you are able to do with Ink & Sponges. Add in a Decorative Mask & well that opens another door with lots more possibilities.
To see how you to create a card with Basic Sponging, be sure to check out the PDF Tutorial over on the Technique Tutorial Page. It is right at the bottom, #1.
I’ve used the gorgeous Tasteful Touches Stamp Set to create my card. It would have to be one of my favourites.
Be sure to pop back in a few days, as I have another to share with you.
Once again I am taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop for March. Thank you so much for everyone who voted for me last month. It is always very much appreciated.
This month the theme is Encouragement.
I love sending out encouragement cards or “Just Because”. Isn’t this one of the reasons we create? Do you know of anyone you can send encouragement to? Maybe a Get Well Soon – or WOW, You are Amazing, even a Thank You card? I’m sure they would appreciate it. My card went off in the mail yesterday & is winging its way overseas.
Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me in the recent Blog Hop. It is always very much appreciated. It is also a very huge surprise that I am sometimes one of the lucky ones who get to hop along with Kylie & 10 lucky Demos.
Once again our theme is “Encouragement”. I love this type of card as it can cover lots of bases & for anyone. My card went in the mail yesterday to a special someone. If you would like to have a card posted to you please fill out this form & one will be on its way.
G’Day & welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop where this month’s theme is all about Christmas. It is always great to get different ideas from everyone, so this hop is the perfect way of doing that especially if you haven’t completed or even started your Christmas cards.
Thank you for visiting my blog. You have just landed from Anastasia’s blog who always creates lovely work.
Today I am not only taking part in the very first Blog Hop – Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! but it is Day 4 of my DSP Showcase. It is a FB Page for anyone who love SU! Products & who scraps. There are over 3500 members. If you love Stampin’ Up! & you love to scrap then why not join us.
Thank you for visiting. You have just arrived from Jessica’s page which means you are now half way through the hop. I do hope you are enjoying the pages that everyone has created & getting lots of ideas.
Our Challenge this month was to create our page using the Sketch Layout. Easy, right? Well, I thought so to but for the life of me I’ve had heaps of trouble coming up with a page that I liked. I think I may have been overthinking things which then creates all sorts of hassles.
Those of you that visit my blog, know that I do layouts for my niece & post them down to her. Sometimes, they include photos, other times they are just the layouts & she selects the photos. The journaling is mostly all left blank as I love her to write in her own handwriting. I think it means more this way.
Anyhow my photo is one of Bon & her brother Jesse who was married in Argentina in April this year. They are very close which I tried to capture in the layout including the colours in Bon’s dress & the black of Jess’ suite. I’ve kept my page very simple as I didn’t want to take away from her gorgeous lace dress. I have been a little loose with my layout as it is a little different to the sketch.
The “love” was die cut from Basic Black using the same Framelits & adhered to a piece of Whisper White. All 4 pieces of Whisper White were then adhered to a square of Basic Black & then to the sponged Whisper White.
The letters were cut from Balmy Blue & Whisper White, adhered onto each other but off centered a little before adhering to the Basic Black Square. The little butterfly was die cut from Balmy Blue & Whisper White while the subtitle was typed & printed onto a piece of Whisper White, mounted onto a piece of Balmy Blue & then adhered to the page.
Next up on the hop is Michelle. Just click on the “NEXT” button or from the names below in the Blog Roll. When visiting the blogs, please don’t forget to leave a little love by way of a comment. I’m sure they will appreciate it.
Today is I am sharing with you one of the cards we created in class last Friday. I wanted to show the class that you could do more with your Embossing Folders then just emboss Cardstock. We did a little sponging over the top of the embossed card. It is only a little thing but it made our cards come alive!
