Technique Treats

Today I am sharing with you one of the cards created for our Technique Treats way back in March 2016.  It is using the lovely little “Easter Lamb” Stamp from the 2016 Occasions

march
March 2017 Technique Treats

Catalogue.  You could easily swap it out for a more current stamp set along with a different sentiment or greeting & it would be a whole new card.

To create my background I used Pear Piazzazz & Soft Sky Re-Inkers, but again you can easily change your colours to suit your card.  Spray shaving Cream onto a Paper Plate, Alfoil or Photo Copy Paper before randomly adding drops of Pear Pizzazz & Soft Sky Re-Inkers into the Shaving Cream & swirl through with the Simply Scored Tool being carful not to mix too much.

Place a piece of Shimmery White CS into the Shaving Cream until all CS is covered.  You could do more pieces if you want so that you can use them at a later date.  Wipe excess off with a Tissue.  Use the piece for your card background or run it through the Big Shot with a Die.

If you head on over to the Technique Treats Page, you will find another Tutorial using the same Technique along with heaps of other fun Technique Tutorials.  You also receive separate instructions for your Techniques which means you are able to file in a folder & keep for later.

Until next time, Happy Stampn’

Technique Treats #13

I’m happy to say our next lot of Technique Treats are alive for you to purchase.  You will adore these cards.  We are playing at creating our own Marbled Paper using Shaving Cream & Marbles.  Well, in my case Sinkers, as I don’t have any Marbles, but I do have heaps of fishing gear. Just goes to show you can compromise with what you have on hand.

Thank you everyone for your patience, it has been very much appreciated & thank you to those of you who emailed me with your good wishes.  They were very much appreciate too.

I would also like to take the time to thank everyone who purchased our treats last month.  Naomi & I were blown away. I’m not sure whether it was the Techniques or Stamp Set but either way, thank you.

This month we are playing with the lovely “Falling in Love” Stamp Set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  This set is perfect for all occasions, eg wedding, engagement, anniversary or just because.  As I’ve said, you will love the cards created using the Techniques & the Stamp Set.

Don’t forget all our Technique Treats are perfect if you want to play in the comfort of your home or if you are a SU! Demonstrator who would love to teach a Technique Class – all the work is done for you!  Just head over to the Technique Teats Page to purchase your Treat.

Kay (USA) says –  “Thank you so much for making such wonderful tutorials!!!”

Kris (Brisbane) – “Great card and the Technique Treats are really great”.

Both Kay & Kris are SU! Demonstators, so thank you ladies for your lovely comments.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Technique Treats

Today is suppose to be the release of our Technique Treats for February but with me being ill the last couple of weeks has put me behind in a lot of things, one of them being our 7-1-emboss-resist-augustTreats.

I do apologise for the inconvenience this may cause our avid followers, but please head back tomorrow as I promise they will be alive & read for you to purchase.

In the meantime, if you haven’t purchased any of our Treats, please click on the “Technique Treats” Page & do so.  We have lots of lovely techniques just waiting for you to have a play, like the sample shown using the lovely little Stamp Set “Gift from the Garden” or the one below – Watercolouring with Pencils using the gorgeous new “Beautiful You” Stamp Set.

Until tomorrow, Happy Stampin’

Wedding Wishes

I have been missing in action the last week or 2 but am feeling up to doing a little today.  While the going is good, I thought I would also try a little post.  It is also a challenge from our FB Page to do an extra blog this week.  Well, seeing as though I set the challenge, I felt I had to play along.

As I don’t have a card created (still not creating), I thought I would start sharing some of our cards we have created for our Technique Treats – #1 Collection.  In saying that I will only be sharing 1 or 2 from each collection.  You are still able to purchase the tutorials for the posted card along with the other cards in the collection by heading over to the “Technique Treats” Page.

My first card is one we did way back in February 2016 when the 2016 Occasions Catalogue come out.  It has been created using the lovely “Rose Wonder” Stamp Set along with the coordinating “Rose Garden” Framelits.  The technique is “Re-Inkers” – perfect for getting more use from your Re-Inkers.

I also used the Layering Squares Framelits along with the gorgeous Neutrals Paper StackBasic Black which pops the Flower.

Until next time, Enjoy!

Well, it is the 1st Saturday of the month & that means we have our brand new Treats for you to purchase.  With a lot of classes winding down or breaking up over the break, now is the perfect time to “treat” yourself to a “treat”, ie Technique Treats.

With the new 2017 Occasions Catalogue out, we thought it the perfect opportunity to highlight the gorgeous new “Beautiful You” stamp set.  No doubt, you have seen it over Pinterest & the internet.  Well believe me, it will not disappoint.

We’ve teamed it up with the Watercolour Pencils & dug out our Aqua Painters & Blender Pens to create 4 lovely cards for you to create, along with Measurements (Metric & Imperial), Products & Step by Step colour pictures.

To purchase the Treats, all you have to do is click on the Page “Technique Treats” & follow the instructions.

Don’t forget if you purchase any products from my Online Store, please use the Hostess Code.  You could be receiving a FREE gift.

Until next time Enjoy!
