True Gentleman

Today I am sharing with you our 2nd card created last Friday using the True Gentleman Suite from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue, Page 44. I am actually loving the colours & design of the True Gentleman DSP. Perfect for the males but which could also be used for females.

To create our shapes, we punched pieces of the DSP using the Tailored Tag Punch before layering them onto a piece of Night of Navy leaving a small amount showing around Truly-Tailored-1---Inside shapes.

The sentiment was coloured with the Chocolate Chip & Tranquil Tide Stampin’ Write Markers before stamping direct onto a piece of Very Vanilla.

A piece of Linen Thread was threaded threw a button from the True Gentleman Button Pack & added to the sentiment with a Mini Glue Dot.

G’Day Stampers,

I’m sharing with you one of the cards we created in our class last Friday. We used the True Gentleman Suite, Page 44 & 45 of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. It includes the Truly Tailored Stamp Set & Tailored Tag Punch which is also available as a Bundle, True Gentleman Buttons, True Gentleman DSP & the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon. During the Christmas/New Break I managed to plan & create all my classes up until mid-May 2018 which I am happy about. In fact, I have had to stop myself as the new Catalogue will be out in June & of course we will want to play with new product.

Truly-Tailored-Launch---Clo

You saw photos of my Launch Display a couple of days ago so today I am sharing a quick make & take we created on the day using product from the “True Gentleman” Suite, Page 44 of the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. I’ve used different elements of the Suite – Truly Tailored Stamp Set, True Gentleman DSP, Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon & the Tailored Tag Punch.

You may recognize the design as I’ve case’d it from the sample in the Catalogue except I’ve turned it into a greeting card using the Very Vanilla Note Cards & Envelopes.

I cut a piece of the Night of Navy Ribbon, adhered it across the middle of the DSP, tucking the ends behind. I cut the ends of a piece of Emerald Envy CS into a banner shape before adhering to the top of the Ribbon. You could also use the Banner Triple Punch to do this.

The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS in Night of Navy before being punched with the Tailored Tag Punch & adhered to the top of the Emerald Envy Banner.

Five minutes later you have yourself the perfect card for the male in your life.

True-Gentleman-Suite---Clos

G’Day Stampers,

I am having a little trouble getting back into blogging at the moment so fingers crossed all will be back to normal.

I’m sharing with you one of the new suites from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue – True Gentleman Suite. Love it! Mind you, I was in 2 minds as to whether I would purchase it but as usual once in my hands, it is totally different. Lots of ideas. I am actually in the middle of planning a class around it.

I wanted to create a very quick simple card but one with a bit of a wow factor showcasing the lovely DSP from True Gentleman DSP. I took my inspiration from the Catalogue.
