Today’s post is a little different in that I had organized a document for myself to keep all my colour codes in one place. I don’t know about you but I had them everywhere & was sick of trying to find them when required. I must say a big thank you to those lovely people who do the codes each year & share, share & share. They are so very helpful. Your work never goes unappreciative.
I then expanded the form to include a box to tick off when you have purchased Card, Ink Pads, Refills & Markers. Again, a huge thank you to the lovely people for giving us the Codes. I didn’t use any one particular code as I sort of selected the ones that I thought were closest to the Stampin’ Up! colours.
After playing with the form & tweaking it heaps, I have finally emailed it off to my team & customers – they love it!!!!

Last week I shared with you a card I had created using the cute little Stamp Set – You’re Sublime. Well, today I have another to share with you, but this time I’ve played with the frog from the same set. I don’t know what it is about this set, but I love creating with it. Is it the little creatures & their faces or is it the shapes……
Anyhow, my card went off in the mail last Monday. Fingers crossed they like it too.
As I’ve teamed the set with the bright & happy “Festive Birthday” DSP, I wanted the colours to be the same – bright & happy. I used my Blender Pen to colour the frog & the water, but in saying that, I didn’t want it to be coloured nice & smooth, so I very roughly coloured both using Emerald Envy for the frog & Tempting Turquoise for the water. It’s eyes are Daffodil Delight & the spots are Melon Mambo.

I am showing you a card I saw on Pinterestlast week with this fold, so I decided to sit myself down & play around trying to create the fold. Thank you Lyssa for your inspiration.
It showcases the gorgeous “Floral Boutique” DSP which is retiring at the end of May. I have managed to finish about of the DSP for my card with just little bits & pieces left. I’ve challenged myself to create a card using those pieces, so be sure to bop back in a couple of days to check out what I’ve done.
The fold actually looks harder then it really is. I was quite surprised at how quick & easy it was to complete this fold as it looks harder than it really is.
Now is the perfect time to let you know that I have updated my Retired Products ( ex the current products retiring), so be sure to head on over to my “Retired Product 4 Sale” Page to check it out. There is still more to add but that will be done over the next week. A lot of it has already gone!
I think I will be creating more of these fun “Fanfare Fun Fold” Cards especially for classes. It is also a great way of using up your retiring DSP.

It is not often that I post on a Saturday as I usually have the day off from crafting but I’ve issued a challenge over on our FB Page that this weekend, we had to find a challenge, create a project & post it somewhere including our Page.
I’ve had my head going around the past couple of days thinking of a way to create a card using the challenge over atFMS. Once I sort of set my mind to what I wanted to do, I was surprised at how easy my card came together. As I hadn’t created a male card in some time, I also challenged myself to creating one for the males & think I have succeeded. Although I will admit that I wanted to emboss the background but completely forgot about that part until after I put it together. Oh, well!
Thank you once again to the team over at FMS for a great challenge – loved the layout!

The challenge this week over at Freshly Made Sketches is simple & easy. You can make it what you like. I decided to keep mine fairly simple with a little Water Colouring thrown in.
To create my card, I coloured a piece of Shimmery White CS with my Aqua Painter, Pear Pizzazz Ink for the grass, Soft Sky & Pool Party Inks for the Sky.
Once dry, I then stamped the Grass Image from the “Glamper Greetings” Stamp Set over my “grass” in Pear Pizzazz Ink. A couple of small clouds from the “Life Me Up” Stamp Set were stamped in the sky (very had to see) in Soft Sky Ink.
I then cut the piece into 3 equal pieces before layering onto piece of Basic Black CS leaving small edges showing around all pieces. I originally had it layered onto Whisper White, but it did nothing for the card. The Black makes the piece pop & the soft Water Colouring stand out a little.
The piece was layered onto a piece of Whisper White CS & then to the Base Card – Basic Black.
I have had an idea in my head about using this image after seeing Balloons in a certain way, so I set out & inked the large Balloon from “Lift Me Up” Stamp Set with Bermuda Bay Ink & Daffodil Delight using a Sponge Dauber. I love how it turned out with the 2 colours. This was then die cut with the matching “Up & Away” Framelits & adhered to the CardFront with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The small Balloon was inked in Bermuda Bay, cut with the matching “Up & Away” Framelits before it too, was adhered to the Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I masked off the top part of the “…..Happy Birthday” Image from the same set with Sticky Tape, inked it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, removed the mask & stamped it onto a scrap of Whisper White CS. I then cut it into a Banner Shape 1 end before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To complete the card, I tied 2 small Bows from Whisper White Twine & adhered to the Balloons with Mini Glue Dots. The birds were hand drawn with a Project Life Journaling Pen.
Thank you once again FMS for a great sketch. You still have time to play along.

I thought I would share with you a cheeky little card I created from my FREE stamp set “Hey, Chick“. When I first saw this set, it didn’t do anything for me, but I love it. So many ideas going around in my head, so many cool creations on Pinterest. I also used the lovely new Watercolour Pencils now available in the Occasions Catalogue. Believe me, you will want these. They are so smooth & very easy to blend.

It has seemed like forever since my last post, so fingers crossed, I will be posting again as from this week.
I thought I would share with you a card I did for my friend & downline some time ago. Naomi held her very first Workshop way back in early October & it was a huge success. Good on you Naomi. Bring on 2017!
Sorry there is no tutorial for you to print today as the card was rushed off in the mail the day I created it. I am going to try & remember what I did from the photo, so please be kind to me.
I randomy stamped the large image from the “Falling Flowers” Stamp Set onto a piece of Whisper White Card in VersaMark Ink allowing it to dry a little. With a Stamping Sponge, I sponged a piece of Whisper White Card with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight & Pumpkin Pie Inks before adhering to a panel of Basic Black Card. The piece was layered onto a piece of Whisper White before layering onto the Base Card – Basic Black.
I stamped the Flower Images & the Leaf Images onto scraps of Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured them with my Blender Pen using Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Inks. The were then die cut with the coordinating “May Flowers” Framelits by running through the Big Shot before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals & Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
From memory I may have even gone over the flowers with the Clear Wink of Stella to give it a lift.
It is a very simple card but I think with the sponged panel it gives it a “WOW” factor.

On the 11th Day of the 11th Month at the 11th Hour, the guns on the Western Front fell quiet ending WW1.
Originally called “Armistice Day” – the Germans called for a armistice (suspension of fighting). With between 9 million & 13 million unknown allied graves, the allies chose this day to remember their war dead.
Two minutes silence was instituted as part of the main commemorative ceremony on the very first anniversary held at the Cenotaph in London. Did you know that an Australia journalist, Edward Honey, first proposed this great tradition along with a South African statesman? It is now an important feature in all commemorations held on this day.
The name was changed to by the Australian & British Governments after WW2 to “Remembrance Day”. which commemorates all who have died in all wars and armed conflicts.
