Today I’m sharing a soft and elegant Get Well Soon card featuring the beautiful brand new Summer Feeling Collection by Maja Design.  New to me anyhow!  This brand-new paper collection is filled with gorgeous florals, delicate patterns and fresh summer colours that are perfect for creating heartfelt handmade cards.  There is a sheet of fussy cut image that are to die for & believe me, I can’t wait to get into this collection.

The beautiful floral papers make it easy to create a cheerful design that’s sure to brighten someone’s day.  Layering the coordinating papers adds lovely dimension while keeping the card soft and feminine.

Once again, Robbie & myself have teamed up to bring you our Christmas in July celebration and it’s the perfect excuse to get creative with the beautiful Sweet Christmas Treats Collection by Paper Rose Studio!

These Kits are designed to make creating easy and enjoyable.  Each kit includes everything you need to make a gorgeous handmade project, so you can craft whenever it suits you – whether it’s with a cup of hot chocolate, surrounded by friends or during a quiet afternoon at home.  You will need your Paper Trimmer, Scissors, Adhesive, Foam Tape & Bling!

The Scrap Room | Design Team | Daisy Daze Paper Collection

Today I’m sharing a birthday card I created using the beautiful Daisy Daze Paper Collection Pack for The Scrap Room Design Team.

The Daisy Daze collection by Bee Arty exclusively designed by Amy Evans, is a beautiful coordinated scrapbooking and mixed media range inspired by vintage botanicals, wildflower meadows and honeycomb textures.

To give the papers a soft vintage feel, the edges of the paper were distress before lightly sponging them with Forest Moss Distress Ink & a Sponge Dauber.

The sweet daisy image was fussy cut from the pack prior to being coloured with Copics, adding plenty of depth and vibrant colour to the focal point.

To finish the card, I added a few pearls for a touch of elegance and wrapped some twine around the design for extra texture and a rustic feel.

Summer Splash | July | The Paper Funday Challenge

July is here which means a a brand new challenge over at The Paper Funday Challenge Blog!  Our sponsors for this month are Taylored Expresions & Simon Says stamps with the twist being  “Summer Splash”.  Once again, I’ve gone for the twist!

I knew immediately what I was going to use – the gorgeous & oh so “summery” Summer Feeling Paper Collection from Maja Design.  The fresh striped patterns paired with a sweet ice cream paper & fussy cut element create the perfect combination for a bright, cheerful summer project.

Sometimes the simplest designs are the most effective and this card came together so easily while still capturing all those happy summer vibes.

After all… how can you have summer without ice cream?  It’s the perfect treat for warm sunny days and makes such a fun focal point for a summer-themed card.

Lily Ladybug | Digi Choosday | Polkadoodles

Once again it’s time for Digi Choosday over on the Polkadoodles blog.  Be sure to check it out to see all the lovely inspiration.

Today I’m sharing a sweet birthday card featuring Lily Ladybug Collecting Flowers Digi Stamp.  She’s been coloured the image with Copics, using soft, cheerful colours to bring the little scene to life.

To complement the image, I added some coordinating pattern paper from the Lily Bug Ladybug Paper 2 and finished the background with a little light ink blending for a soft feel.  The combination of the florals and gentle background details makes this such a fun and happy birthday card design.

I love how cute and whimsical Lilly Ladybug looks surrounded by her flowers, and the layer of pattern paper add just the right amount of texture and colour.
