I thought I would share with you my card I created using both rolls of the Washi Tape. Mind you, it is an easy card & one that you could probably whip in in a few minutes flat, but sometimes these types of cards are the best!
Now, not only am I sharing my card I created with this lovely Washi Tape, but I have a video to share on how i created the flowers & then my card.
By clicking on the link below, you will be able to download a FREE Tutorial to create your own card or watch the video & create along with me. The tutorial includes all the product you require for this card along with the measurements – metric & imperial plus the step by step instructions.
I created this card when the 2018 Occasions Cataloguecome out. It was planned for one of our classes but never thought we would get round to creating it. Well today is the day as we are finally going to create using the Magical Day Bundle.
Today’s post is going to be a short one – on the way out the door, but thought I would share the last of our cards we created some time ago using Washi Tape. I love my Washi Tape – so many ways to use it. You can find a tutorial to download by visiting the Technique Tutorial Page.

It’s a very simple card but one that showcases how versatile the Washi Tape truly is. You could change out the colours & die to create exact same card for a male. You could also change out the Tape to strips of DSP. The butterfly is from the Butterflies Thinlits& has been die cut into the Washi Tape before being laid back into place.

Today’s post is one that we created in our Creative Class a couple of weeks ago. We had a play with Washi Tape. It is such a fun way to create a WOW to your project, no matter whether it is your cards or scrapbooking.
Over the weekend I offered a free class to my customers as a thank you for their support during Sale-A-Bration. It was a huge hit with the ladies loving the simple & easy cards. I surprised them with a 3rd which they were stoked about. In fact it was a very successful day with them taking advantage of the last weeks of Sale-A-Bration. Yep, it ends 31 March.
For our class we used the Level 1 Epic Celebrations for 2 of the cards with today’s card for the boys. I always like to show how versatile our stamp sets are by creating a couple of cards using the same set. In fact, I do this with all my classes.
I actually cased the card from my friend Kris but have changed it a little to suit what I wanted Thanks for your inspiration Kris, loved your simple design.
Don’t forget you too, can earn both this stamp set for free when you spend $AUD90 while Sale-A-Bration is on.

If you remember I shared with you a couple of cards created using the flower from the lovely Beautiful Day Stamp Set now available in the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. Well today, I am sharing the remaining couple of cards created using the same set but this time round I’ve used the gorgeous butterfly.
Card #1 – I stamped the butterfly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink direct onto the Note Card. I then stamped a 2nd butterfly onto scrap Whisper White & coloured with the Stampin’ Blends – Pink Pirouette, Daffodil Delight & Night of Navy. It is a little bright but I think the Pink tones it down a little. The butterfly was fussy cut & adhered over the stamped butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the wings to pop them up a little.
I applied Basic Pack 2 Washi Tape down the left hand side & across the bottom of the card.
To finish the card I randomly scattered Pearl Basic Jewels.
Card #2 – Has been created exactly the same way except I’ve randomly stamped the small group of flowers in Pool Party, used the Basic Pack 3 Washi Tape down the left hand side & along the bottom.
The butterfly has been coloured with the Stampin’ Blends – Pool Party, Daffodil Delight & Calypso Coral. Not as bright as the first card but I’m happy with it just the same.
Again it was fussy cut before adhering over the stamped butterfly on the Note Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals under the wings to pop them a little. Pearl Basic Jewels were randomly scattered around the card to finish it off.

The Christmas products in this year’s Holiday Catalogue are gorgeous. I love everything single Christmas Set & didn’t really know what to get my hands on first, so I did the sensible thing & planned classes around each of them.
Today’s card is one of the ones we created early in September. I know, slack on my behalf.
As soon as I saw this set & the samples in the catalogue I knew I wanted to plan a “Heat Embossing” Technique Class around them. They were just beautiful. Mind you, I did add a couple of “Vicky” touches to make them my own.
We didn’t really use a lot of product to create this gorgeous card, although I added Night of navy as the Base Card & Heat Embossed the 2 Cones using VersaMark & Soft Suede Ink, cut out & adhered to the top of the branch which has been Heat Embossed using VersaMark & White Embossing Powder.
Of course, we couldn’t complete the card without using the stunning new “All is Calm” Washi Tape
1 x Night of Navy Cardstock 11 ¾” x 4 1/8” or 29cm x 10.5cm
1 x Pool PartyCardstock 5 5/8” x 4” or 14.5cm x 10cm
1 x Whisper White Cardstock5/8” x 4” or 1.5cm x 10cm
Scrap Whisper White Cardstock Enough for 2 x stamped pine cones
Until next time, Happy Stampin!
