This month I’ve been playing with the Joyful Wishes Rub-Ons by Spellbinders.  They are truely gorgeous & so very real once the transfer has been completed.

If you love making handmade cards but don’t have hours to spare, this easy Christmas card idea is perfect for you!  Today I’m sharing how to create a lovely traditional Christmas card featuring a beautiful Christmas tree — all with Christmas rub-ons. This simple technique adds instant charm and detail to your design and you can recreate it in no time at all.

Anything Goes Saturday | Easy Fun Fold Birthday Card Tutorial

Welcome back to Anything Goes Saturday!  Today’s project is all about fun, colour and creativity — we’re making an easy fun fold birthday card using a birthday cut-a-part sheet and some bright patterned paper.

This is a simple yet eye-catching card design that’s great for beginners, kids or anyone who loves quick and fun paper crafting projects.  Best of all, we celebrated World Fussy-Cutting Day, last Saturday so it was all about the fussy-cutting!

This fun fold card design is one of those projects that looks fancy but is actually super easy to make.  IThe fold is perfect for all occasions cards.  By using cut-a-part sheets and patterned paper, you can mix and match your favourite designs to create a one-of-a-kind handmade card every time.

Quick & Easy Christmas Card | Anything Goes Saturday | Home for Christmas Collection

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy Christmas card made with the Home for Christmas Kit Collection by Uniquely Creative — a dreamy mix of butterflies, flowers and Christmas pattern paper.  This Collection is perfect for creating soft, elegant Christmas cards with a touch of nature’s beauty.

It is also my project I shared for our Anything Goes Saturday.  You are able to see Robbie’s project HERE.

What You’ll Need

  • Home for Christmas Kit Collection (pattern papers + creative cuts)

  • Linen thread

  • Christmas sentiment (stamp, sticker or creative cut)

  • Adhesive foam dots

  • A hint of sparkle (rhinestones or metallic thread)

Quick & Easy Steps

  1. Layer your pattern paper onto coordinating cardstock & then to the base card

  2. Add creative cuts. Arrange a butterfly in top left corner & a floral cluster in bottom right corner for a soft, dimensional look.

  3. Finish with a sentiment – Add a “Merry Christmas” banner or tag across the centre.

  4. Optional sparkle – A few gems or a touch of glitter add instant Christmas charm!

And just like that, you have a beautiful handmade card — simple, festive and perfect for gifting or mailing.

Easy Christmas Card Idea | White Poinsettia on Blue Glitter Paper

If you’re looking for an easy Christmas card layout that’s elegant and beginner-friendly, this small white poinsettia design is the perfect project to try.  Created as part of my Design Team project for Kat Scrappiness, this layout combines a simple sketch-style poinsettia with a stunning blue glitter paper background for a frosty, festive look.

Design Inspiration

This easy poinsettia sketch layout is all about simplicity and balance.  The white-on-blue contrast gives it a modern winter feel, while the glitter paper adds just the right amount of Christmas shine.  It’s a great project for quick Christmas card making, or a relaxing weekend craft session.
