Goodbye Blooms & Bliss DSP

I created this card when the 2017 Occasions Catalogue first come out as it was part of our Technique Treats for January 2017 where we highlighted the “No Line Watercolouring” Technique.

Along with the gorgeous “Beautiful You” Stamp Set, I wanted to highlight the lovely “Blooms & Bliss” DSP which is part of the “Blooms & Bliss” Suite, page 138 of the current Beautiful-YouCatalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.

The image was stamped onto a piece of Watercolour Paper, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink, cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits & layered onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card which was cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits.

The image was coloured with the Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencil & an Aqua Painter.

The flowers were cut from Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo Card by running the small Flower from the “Botanical Builder” Framelits through the Big Shot.  They were then adhered to the Card Front & Pearl Basic Jewels adhered to the centres.

Technique Class

Today’s post is one of the cards we will be creating in our Technique Class this afternoon.  The Technique is using our “Aqua Painters” & 20140616_105838Shimmery Card.  Love the result you get with the Shimmery Card!

I created the card with Males in mind, but now looking at the card, it could be used for Male or Female!

I hope the ladies enjoy creating it as much as I did!

If you haven’t attempted this great Technique, I suggest you dig it out & have a go.  You will be surprised at how easy it is.  You will never get the same 2 images identical., but isn’t that the way when you water paint.  It just makes the card that little bit more special.

I will be repeating this class again next month, so be sure to check back next week to see the dates this class will be held in July, by clicking onto the “Classes” Page.
