Cartwheels on the Beach

Heya Stampers,

The last weekend in May we had a team meeting where we played with new & carried over stamp sets, played with techniques & discussed our business, including being a 20170530_101827BLOG-INSIDEHobby Demo.

Over the next few days or weeks, I will share with you the cards we created.  I do hope you will like them, even better if you are inspired by seeing them.

First off the rank is my card using the gorgeous “Beautiful You” Stamp Set!  I call this card “Cartwheels on the Beach”.  I love how she looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world with the sun shinning down on her & nothing on her mind but enjoyment.

I’ve used our Watercolour Pencils to create the colours.  I especially love the sun shining through the sky.  I’m only sorry you can’t see all the pretty sparkle on the card from adding Clear Wink of Stella.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

230. Beautiful You – Cartwheels on the Beach

Happy Birthday to You

My post today is only a short one – on my way out to appointments……

I’ve played with the Ghosting Technique to create my card & was also one of our cards in our Technique Class last month.  Mind you, the colours are not what I would normally use either but hey, it is good to get out of your comfort zone once in awhile.  The ladies seemed to like it, so that is the main thing.

If you would like to create more cards using this Technique & in the comfort of your own home, then click on the Page – Technique Treats – to purchase one of our treats.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Set of Cards

Today I am showing you the set of 4 cards I created to add to the Card Box I created a couple of days ago.

I did get the idea from a lot of posts on Pinterest & thank you for your inspiration.

The cards were created using all the colours in the box – Pear Pizzazz, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Whisper White plus 1 other colour from the “Colour Coach” – Perfect Plum.

I kept with the same Stamp Sets too – “Watercolor Wings” & “Awesomely Artistic” plus “One Big Meaning“.

Have a lovely day stampin’

Pack of Cards

While deciding to create a Pack of Cards sometime ago, I decided to use this piece for the box front.  I actually found a tutorial on Pinterest, which I am unable to find now & altered it to fit the Australia 11B Envelopes.  Thank you so much for your inspiration & Tutorial.

I began by sponging a piece of Whisper White CS in Pink Pirouette & then Pear Pizzazz Inks.  Once complete, I then stamped the Background Stamp (non SU!) over the top in Early Espresso Ink.  I actually stamped off once or twice prior to stamping as I wanted it to be a lighter shade.

The stamped image are from “Awesomely Artistic” Stamp Set which have been stamped in Early Espresso Ink.

The Butterfly is from “Watercolor Wings” which has been stamped in Pink Pirouette & Pear Pizzazz Inks, prior to cutting out with matching Bold Butterfly Framelits & adhered to the bottom part of the box with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  This is to keep the lid of the box closed.

The layered Butterfly has been cut from Early Espresso by running through the Big Shot with the Butterflies Thinlits & adhered to the centre of the stamped butterfly & Rhinestones adhered down the centre.

If you check back in a few days time, I will sho you the 4 cards I created to fit inside the box.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Thank You Card

Today’s card is a post showing you the Thank You Card I posted off to a friend a week or so ago.

It is a very simple card but with the lovely butterfly, ends up being something very special.

The butterfly has been coloured by creating a Colour Palette of Watermelon Wonder, Crumb Cake & Pool Party Inks, dipping a piece of Whisper White Card into the Palette & then cutting it out with the Butterfly Framelit.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
