I’ve been playing with the lovely “Bike Ride” Bundlethe last couple of days & I must say I am loving it! So many possibilities with this lovely set.
I actually created my cards today, yes 2 for the July RAK – Random Act of Kindness that I am a part of. Love this group! You too can join. All you have to do is click on the link below & request to join. You don’t have to be a SU! Demonstrator.
To create my path, I randomly drew lines with the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker, coloured & blended with Crumb Cake Ink & Blender Pen.
The sun was stamped in Daffodil Delight, coloured & blended with the Bender Pen. I then blended a bit of the Daffodil Delight down towards the bike so that it looked like the sun was really shinning.

The last weekend in May we had a team meeting where we played with new & carried over stamp sets, played with techniques & discussed our business, including being a Hobby Demo.
Over the next few days or weeks, I will share with you the cards we created. I do hope you will like them, even better if you are inspired by seeing them.
First off the rank is my card using the gorgeous “Beautiful You” Stamp Set! I call this card “Cartwheels on the Beach”. I love how she looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world with the sun shinning down on her & nothing on her mind but enjoyment.
I’ve used our Watercolour Pencils to create the colours. I especially love the sun shining through the sky. I’m only sorry you can’t see all the pretty sparkle on the card from adding Clear Wink of Stella.

For my card I decided to use the “Nailed It” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.
I layered a piece of the “Urban Underground” DSP to a piece of Very Vanilla CS before layering onto the Base Card – Crushed Curry.
I used the “Nailed It” Bundle to create my tools. Firstly I stamped 3 of the Tools from the “Nailed It” Stamp Set onto scraps of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured small areas with the Basic Grey Watercolour Pencil & blended a little with a Blender Pen before cutting with the matching “Build It” Framelits by running through the Big Shot. I added the cute little “smiley face” to the hammer.
I cut a piece of Very Vanilla CS with the large circle from the “Stitched Shapes” Framelits by running through the Big Shot, randomly stamped the circle with the Nails & Screw Image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To highlight the handles a little I added a little Basic Black CS by cutting just the handles using the “Build It” Framelits & adhering to the shapes which were then arranged over the stitched circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
“Happy Birthday” is from the “Sunshine Sayings”Stamp Set & has been stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, punched with the “Classic Label” Punch & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you like my card today.

I am a little late in posting my card today as I meant to share it with you this morning but got a bit carried away with doing other things & it slipped my mind.
I’ve created my card using the challenge over at Global Design Project #87where this week they have the theme of Cooking, Baking and Making!
When I saw the challenge, “Perfect Mix” Stamp Set sprung immediately into my mind. This set is from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & will be retiring at the end of May, so this is the perfect time to ink up this great set one last time.
I actually created this fold last week. To check out the instructions on how I created this fold, please click here. It is the perfect way to use some of that lovely DSP sitting on your desk before it retires.
I decided to play with “Playful Palette” DSP Stack which is another item retiring. I think it works in great with the set. I also used the “Playful Palette” Washi Tape which is on the inside of my card & the envelope. Gotta love it when everything matches.
To create my “shelf”, I stamped random images direct onto scraps of Very Vanilla Card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & coloured with the Sweet Sugarplum & Peekaboo PeachMarkers & Bender Pen before fussy cutting.
I punched a piece of DSP with the 2″ Circle Punch & adhered to the Very Vanilla side of a Lace Doily (2017 Occasions Catalogue) & cut the Doily in half.
A circle was die cut from Very Vanilla Card using the Layering Circles Framelits & running through the Big Shot before layering onto a Basic Black scallop circle which had been die cut using the same set of Framelits & running through the Big Shot.
The “shelf” was adhered to the bottom part of the scallop circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals before adhering the baking images, the oven mitt with a Stampin’ Dimensional while the others were adhered with Liquid Glue.
The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, fussy cut & adhered to the top of the “shelf”.
I do hope you like my card today, I am still undecided but happy with the final result. Why not head over to Global Design Project & play along. There is still a heap of time to do so.
Today is one of the cards I created a couple of weeks ago using the “Falling Flowers” Bundle from the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. The bundle includes the Stamp Set & the matching “May Flowers” Framelits.
It is now on its way to Amber, one of my nieces who celebrate their 30th birthday this week. Crikey, where does the time go? I can see them as tiny little babies!
I actually did this for a challenge & now as I didn’t know what one it was, I missed out on posting it, but thought I would still share with you.

…to the end of Sale-a-Bration! Yep, there is only 2 days left so get those orders in now.
Today’s card is one we are going to create in our class tomorrow morning. It is using the “Hey Chick” Stamp Set from SAB.
I’m pretty happy with how this card turned out – completely different to what I started out doing, especially the middle chick. She started out as a very subdued colour but she just looked very sad, so I spruced her up in the bright colours of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight. She loved it & instantly come alive.
I then decided to add a little bow on her neck. As I have run out of the Melon Mambo ThickBaker’s Twine, I decided to use the Whisper White Baker’s Twine (retired) which I still have a heap & so it matched in with the card, I sponged Melon Mambo Ink over a piece of Twine with a Stampin’ Sponge. Worked perfectly.

I sat down yesterday & created a heap of birthday cards – April is a busy Birthday month for me & I wanted to be ready for posting today.
My card today is one I created for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketcheswhich once again I am just getting there before it closes. It will be posted out to a friend this arvo.
I love the “Falling Flowers” Stamp Set along with the coordinating “May Flowers” Framelits so not only did I challenge myself to create with them yesterday but I’m happy to say that I created 3 cards with the Bundle & with what supplies I had sitting on my desk at the time but I will show you them over the next week or so.
A challenge is always a great starting point for inspiration especially if you are stuck for ideas. Be sure to pop on over to FMS & play along or just to see the lovely creations. Thanks again for a great challenge.

… for “Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild“. This is a challenge FB Page run by the very talented Connie Stewart. I’ve been a member of this page for some time but have never managed to play along with any of her challenges. As part of our challenge this week or weekend is to create a project for an online challenge. You can see my 1st challenge card from yesterday here.
I’ve been waiting to find the “perfect” opportunity to ink up the lovely little stamp set “Perfect Mix” from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. This is perfect for anyone who loves baking – boys & girls, male or female.
I wasn’t too sure where I was heading with this card but after playing around with a few options, I decided I liked this one the best, it sort of come together better than the other bits I was playing with.
If you get the time, why not head on over to “Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild” FB Page, hit the join button & play along. Lots of lovely inspiration!

Today I thought I would share with you a couple of Note Cards I have created for my customers. I am trying something a little different this year, so fingers crossed it works. I will fill you in only IF it works!!!!!!
For my cards, I stamped the ladies from “Beautiful You” Stamp Set (available from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue) onto a piece of Whisper White CS using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them in using the lovely new Watercolour Pencils & Blender Pen. Love my Blender Pen!
The Whisper White Cards were then layered onto a piece of Melon Mambo or Pacific Point CS which highlights the colours.
Only a short post today as I am still recovering, so fingers crossed things will be back to normal in a couple of days.
With summer being around the corner in Australia (well, we don’t really have winter where I am), I thought I would share with you a small sneak peek at one of the cute sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2016 Holiday Catalogue. It is one of my favourite perks about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, being able to see and order new product before it’s released! AND believe me, the new Holiday Catalogue will not disappoint.
The little Cards are about 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ in size. Enough to write a small note to accompany the new Catalogues.
I sponged Crumb Cake onto a piece of Whisper White Card for the sand & then Soft Sky for the Sky. I wanted the sponging to be very light so that I could still write on the card.
For all my little cards, I stamped the Umbrella from the “Day by the Beach” Stamp Set directly onto the card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then stamped it again onto scrap Whisper White Card before colouring with my Blender Pen, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight & Marina Mist Inks. The top of the umbrella was fussy cut prior to layering onto the Sponged Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I then stamped the Starfish, Bucket & Spade, Thongs (love that we now have a pair of thongs in our collection) & Hat Images onto scrap Whisper White Card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & coloured with Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight & Watermelon Wonder Inks along with my Blender Pen.
The images were fussy cut & adhered to the Card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cards were then layered onto a piece of Soft Sky Card.
I think they represent our Australian summer to a “T”, but would love to hear what you think?
