G’Day Friends,

Once again, I have another project to share with you using Steampunk Mega Bundle from Crafting Dragon Design. I will be honest & say, I am not sure how this come about but I am really happy with it.

If you love steampunk, then this Bundle is for YOU!  Although out of my comfort zone, I am so enjoying creating with these images.  The bundle of images leaves your projects wide open to create & play with different types of backgrounds.  These would be just perfect for journals or scrapbooking.

To create the background –

  2. Randomly stamp Block over Basic White Smooth Cardstock
  3. Repeat above 2 steps with Antique Linen Distress Ink
  4. Randomly stamp script image over top with Black Soot Distress Ink – stamp off onto scrap paper prior to stamping
  5. Randomly add splatters over top with an Alcohol Marker  – Bright Blue for more depth & interest
  6. Fussy cut images from Steampunk Mega Bundle
  7. Arrange & adhere to bottom right of panel
  8. Adhere sentiment to card front or stamp sentiment
  9. Drag Tumbled Glass Distress Ink around edges of Basic White Smooth Cardstock prior to adhering panel to top
  10. Adhere Tumbled Glass panel to Basic White Smooth Base card

Lavender Blu Journals Design Team Project

G’Day Friends,

I have another Lavender Blu Journals Design Team project to share with you today.  Once again, it has been created with the Sweet Shabby Easter Kit.

Head on over to Fiona’s Esty Shop, by clicking HERE.

My card is another that headed off to Meals on Wheels as part of the Homemade Cards for Seniors Australia Group.   If you are in Australia & would like to join in, please click on the link to request to join.  Currently we are creating Easter Cards until mid-March.

I love the soft blues, pinks, apricots, greens & purples in this kit.  The bunnies are so cute too.

To create the card, I added a small pocket to the card front so that I could slide a few eggs or bunnies in & out.  You could also add a gift card too if you wanted & then add your elements to the pocket.

It was finished off with Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Supplies

Cardstock –

  • Basic White Smooth – Paper Rose Studio
  • Fresh Freesia – Stampin’ Up!

Until next time, Happy Crafting.
