Technique Treats #2

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased our very first Technique Treat last month.  I hope you enjoyed creating your cards & learning the fun techniques.  If you missed out, don’t panic as they are still available by clicking on the “Technique Treats” Page.  Thank you March-TTso much for your support.

Today is our sneak peak for March.  This month we have created a couple of fun little cards for Easter or change them into any occasion cards. We’ve used the cute little stamp from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue, Page 24 – “Easter Lamb”.

We show you how to create 4 cute cards using this sweet stamp, playing with Shaving Cream & creating 2 Shaker Cards.

We would love for you to join us.  For full details on how this will work, please be sure to visit our “Technique Treats” Page or pop back on Saturday for the release of #2 treat.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Sending Wishes Your Way…

…is one of the gorgeous new Stamp Sets in the new 2015 Occasions Catalogue.  It is available in Wood, Clear or Photopolymer and has 11 stamps in the set.

As a Demonstrator we receive a free magazine.  It has great tips & ideas plus samples using certain products.  I often case their samples, but do add my own spin onto them.  Today’s card has been cased from this magazine, although I have changed a couple of things.

I cut a piece of Lullaby DSP & adhered to the bottom of the Base Card – Whisper White prior to adhering a piece of Hello Honey Stitched Ribbon across the join.

I inked the greeting from Butterfly Basics Stamp Set with my Tangerine Tango & Melon Mambo Markers prior to stamping direct onto a piece of Scrap Whisper White Card.  This piece was then punched using the Decorative Label Punch prior to adhering to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals..

To complete the card I scattered 3 x 2013 – 2015 In Colour Sequin Assortments.

A very lovey 5 minute card.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

SUO Challenge # 104

While trying to get all my stuff ready for Crafty Creations on Friday, I found a bit of Whisper White Card & decided I would create a card for the lovely Bronwen.  As I was happily creating, I remembered seeing a challenge over at SUO Challenges a couple of days ago which I think it fits, fingers crossed!!!!  The challenge calls for our card to be “Clean & Simple” .

As with most of my cards, the final result is not what I saw in my mind, but I am really happy with it.  I just love the touches of Rich Razzleberry & Coastal Cabana with lots of White showing through.006a-fb

My flowers have been coloured using Rich Razzleberry & Coastal Cabana Blendabilities & then little white dots added with the Stampin’ Chalk Marker.  If you don’t have the Marker, you could also use the White Gel Pen.  The flowers were then punched out with the Pansy Punch.

A strip of Rich Razzleberry DSP has been cut from the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Stacks, a strip of Coastal Cabana adhered down both sides before adhering to a piece of Whisper White Card.  The whole piece has then been adhered to the Base Card – Whisper White.

Two of the flowers have been adhered to the Base Card with Multipurpose Glue, while the middle flower is popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional & a small Pearl Basic Jewel popped in the centre of each flower.

I stamped “Thank You” onto scrap Whisper White Card in Rich Razzleberry Ink, cut it out with the matching Framelit by running through the Big Shot & adhered one side to the card.

Thank you for a great challenge.  I did try to leave a comment, but somehow the site wouldn’t allow it.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Technique Class

Today’s post is one of the cards we will be creating in our Technique Class this afternoon.  The Technique is using our “Aqua Painters” & 20140616_105838Shimmery Card.  Love the result you get with the Shimmery Card!

I created the card with Males in mind, but now looking at the card, it could be used for Male or Female!

I hope the ladies enjoy creating it as much as I did!

If you haven’t attempted this great Technique, I suggest you dig it out & have a go.  You will be surprised at how easy it is.  You will never get the same 2 images identical., but isn’t that the way when you water paint.  It just makes the card that little bit more special.

I will be repeating this class again next month, so be sure to check back next week to see the dates this class will be held in July, by clicking onto the “Classes” Page.
