Christmas Tags

I created a few Christmas Tags for those that came to our last Technique & Xmas Break Up Class.

It was a fun arvo creating our Peace Star & sitting around having a chat eats & laughs afterwards.  We don’t always get to do this as we sort of rush off with places to go & people to see.

I punched a piece of Very Vanilla CS using the Triple Banner Punch & thread a piece of Very Vanilla Thick Baker’s Twine through the top.

As I had scraps of the Home for Christmas DSP I decided to try & use them up, so I adhered 2 strips of the DSP to the Tag, fussy cut the Poinsettias, &008wm-blog adhered them to the tags with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For the greeting, I stamped “Merry Christmas” from “Petite Pairs” onto Very Vanilla CS in Mossy Meadow Ink before punching with the Large Oval Punch.  I adhered them to a piece of Mossy Meadow CS punched from the Scallop Oval Punch before adhering to the top of the Tag with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Very easy Tags, but ones that are made from scraps of left over DSP & put to good use.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Merry Christmas

I can’t believe that I haven’t posted in nearly a month.  I have been creating but have been busy with weddings too which means I don’t get onto my blog as much as I would like.

Today’s post is of a couple of little Christmas Bags of yummy chocolates I created last month for a couple of markets I attended.  In fact, they are proving very popular that they just about walk out the door.  I’ve had to come home each time & do more.  They make for great little Christmas Gifts.

To create my bag I used the Gift Bag Punch Board, the gorgeous new “Home for Christmas” DSP which is from the current Holiday Catalogue & will be retiring at the end of the catalogue.

I combined Mossy Meadow, Real Red & Very Vanilla Card for my Banners, which were created using the Triple Banner Punch.  I covered  couple of Pegs with the Same DSP which held the Banner in place & closed the little bag.

I hope you like my little project today.

Until next time, Happy  Stampin’

Merry Christmas

We played with the Festive Flower Builder Punch last Sunday in our Technique Class & will admit we had lots of fun creating our flowers.  I can see myself using this punch for all sorts of occasions – not just Christmas.

We also teamed Real Red with Pool Party which I would never had done, but after seeing the colours for the DSP – Home for Christmas which is in the new Holiday Catalogue.  I am loving the colours & are a bit of a WOW!

This class will be repeated this month, so be sure to check out the dates & times over on my Classes/Workshops Page.  If a time doesn’t suit, please contact me to arrange another day & time.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Merry Christmas

We played with the Delicate Ornament Dies & Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set Bundle last Sunday in our Technique Class.  The ladies absolutely loved the cards.  I am in 2 minds about these cards that I am showing you today.  As I created a silver & gold card – couldn’t decide which I liked better, I let them choose the colour they preferred.

The cards were basically cased from the Holiday Catalogue, Page 14 but with my own touches added to them.  In fact, most of our products used to create our cards are from the Catalogue.

Be sure to pop back in a couple of days & I’ll show you our 2nd card from the same class.

Until next time Happy Stampin’

New Holiday Catalogue Goes Live…

Today is the day the gorgeous new Holiday Catalogue goes live.  Not only is it filled with Christmas product to die for but 20150901TH_HolidayMini_en-AUfantastic ideas as well.

I will admit my pre-order sat in a corner (in the box) for a week or so, as I just haven’t had the time to play).  Does this happen to anyone else?

My post is one I created a couple if days ago which I have cased from Page 14 using the lovely new “Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies”, Page 15 & the lovely “Home for Christmas” DSP, Page 9 & the oh so lovely “Softly Falling” TIEF, Page 24.  I also used the new “Precision Base Plate” to cut my Dies plus a couple of other goodies.

Along with the “Precision Base Plate“, the other “must have” item from this Catalogue is the “Fine-Tip Glue Pen” – Page 43.  If you only purchase 2 items, then be sure it is these 2 items – they will make your life so much easier.  Thank you SU!

Until next Time, Happy Stampin’
