Today’s card is one we are creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class this morning. I hope the ladies like it!
I started by caseing the card from the 2017 SAB Catalogue but it sort of went off on its own. I then found a card on Pinterest that I loved so I ended finishing my card by caseing it. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
I’m loving my Blender Pen at the moment as the new smooth & improved Watercolour Pencils make it so very easy to use. I also want the class to play with them as they are very interested in different techniques, so look out class, we will be doing lots of lovely techniques in our future classes.
Don’t forget that we only have 7 days until SAB ends for another year. Grab your Free items when you spend $AUD90.00. You can place your order by shopping Online or contacting me. SU! have been very generous once again & added 8 new items to the list for the last 2 weeks.

My card today is one I created for a friend’s birthday last week. I’m not sure if she has received it in the post as yet, as my mail seems to take forever to get to their destination.
I actually case’d his card from Pinterest, although I have changed the colours. I was going to link it back but after looking for about 1/2 hour, can no longer find it. When I come across the card again, I will link it back. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
As Pat loves Red, I consulted my Colour Coach for a combination & ended up going with Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso & of course, Real Red. I teamed the colours with Whisper White.
For the inside I cut a piece of left over DSP & adhered it to a piece of Whisper White CS prior to adhering to the inside of the Base Card.

I’m in a bit of shock as I’ve managed to create for yet another challenge over at Tuesday Morning Sketches. They have great sketches, but as usual it is finding the time to create for them.
This year I am hoping to do more challenges, but time will tell. It is a great way of getting your stock of cards up & it also gets you thinking outside the box, like today’s card. Red is not a colour I play with, although when I do, I am always happy with it.
I decided to go with a Valentine’s Card which will be handy for an upcoming market I am doing. Although looking at it, it could easily be a celebration card, eg Wedding, Engagement, Anniversary.
Don’t forget to head on over to Tuesday Morning Sketches & check out what the Design Team have created for you to get your thinking cap going. Lovely cards have also been created by others who have used the challenge to create their card.
Thank you for a great challenge!

I created this bag some time ago for a set of cards. It will fit 4 standard size Australian size cards. I did see something familiar on Pinterest or via Google I am not too sure now. Of course, when I went looking for it to give credit, I am unable to find it as I didn’t save it either. I do know that when I saw the photo I had to have a go at recreating it to suit our size cards.
Today’s Bag & cards use my favourite DSP – Polka Dot Parade which I am really going to miss. The set of cards was actually one of my August Monthly Kitsusing the lovely little, but oh so versatile Stamp Set – Summer Silhouettes.
I do have instructions for the bag, but first I have to find them & will post in a couple of days along with another sample.
Bag of Cards
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
