FMS #284

I saw a great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches yesterday & thought it would be FMS Final 284-001perfect to showcase the  “Grateful Bunch” Stamp Set & the matching “Blossom” Punch both of which are retiring.

To create my card I stamped the leaf direct onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Wild Wasabi Ink.  I created a small faux stitched border around the Card using a Ruler & the Marina Mist Stampin’ Write Marker.  I didn’t go with Pacific Point as I wanted to tone it down a little.

I then stamped the large Sunflower onto a scrap of Whisper White in Archival Basic Grey Ink, coloured with the Pacific Point Watercolour Pencil & Blender Pen before fussy cutting.

I stamped the group of flowers a number of times onto Whisper White with Archival Basic Grey Ink including extra small flowers, coloured with the Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo Watercolour Pencils & Blender Pen.  I punched all flowers using the “Blossom” 20170420_090100blog-insidePunch.

Clear Wink of Stella was applied to the flowers to add shine & to bring out the colour a little more.  Gold Wink of Stella (retiring) was applied to centre of the large flower.

Marina Mist strips were adhered to both sides of the stamped Whisper White before layering onto a piece of Whisper White & then to the Base Card – Pink Pirouette.

The flowers were arranged onto the Card Front & adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue & Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the “Love & Affection” Stamp Set (retiring) & is stamped onto a piece of Whisper White in Archival Basic Grey Ink before cutting back to size & layered onto a piece of Marina Mist.  Both ends were then punched using the “Banner Triple” Punch & adhering to the Card Front.

To complete the card I added Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the centre of the flowers & randomly scattered a couple over the front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf onto Whisper White in Wild Wasabi Ink & added the extra flowers  left over from the front.April

Thank you ladies for a great challenge.  Just what I needed to help showcase the sweet “Grateful Bunch” Stamp Set & the matching “Blossom” Punch.

Thank You

I have been very quiet the last week but that doesn’t mean to say that I have not been creating.  Although in saying that things happen & we get a bit sidetracked.

Today’s card is one created a little while ago for a couple of “Thank You” Cards & I’ve suddenly realised that I never shared it.

The card is simple design using the lovely Stamp Set – “Grateful Bunch” along with the co-ordinating Blossoms Punch.  I’ve added little touches of Mint Maracron with the Blender Pen in the leaves.  It was teamed up with Flirty Flamingo Ink & Cardstock along with Basic Black & Whisper White Cardstock.  I finished it off by adding a large Pearls to the centre of the flower & then randomly scattering small ones around the front.

PS  Goes to show how busy I am creating for you as I did post this Card, but never mind, just in case you missed it!  Have a lovely day!

Thank You

Happy Monday Stampers!

Once again, thank you so much for your support & feedback.  I love creating & it is always a great feeling when you know that there are people out there that enjoy your work.  It helps to keep you going!

My card today is one I created sometime ago & actually forgot to post.  Better later than never!

I’ve used the lovely little “Grateful Bunch” Stamp Set, along with the matching “Blossom” Punch.  You have to love Stampin’ Up! for making creating so easy. I’ve teamed it up with the new In-Colour – Flirty Flamingo, but kept it simple with Basic Black & Whisper White.

I quickly coloured the leaves with Mint Macaron using my Blender Pen & scattered Pearls to finish the card.

Don’t forget, if you click on the link above the photo, you are able to download a free tutorial which includes a list of supplies & measurements (imperial & metric).

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

You Are Totally Awesome

Early last week Naomi & I got together & had a bit of a play.  In fact it was our final meeting before the launch of our Technique Treats.  Be sure to check back on Wednesday to see what this is all about!

As I had been playing with our Decorative Masks & the new Grateful Bunch Bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue which had arrived the previous day we decided to go with what was out on the table.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
