Spotlight on Nature | Project #2

Our card today has a bit of a fun fold to it.  Not sure how it come about but all I can say it was from just a piece of left over cardstock that had been sitting on my desk with the scored lines already added.  Well, why waste a perfectly good piece of Cardstock?

Once again, I’ve left it pretty simple & easy even with the fun fold.  I wanted to let the flowers & paper speak for themselves.

The paper is from the Country Lace DSP while the flowers have been inked with Smokey Slate & Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Markers prior to stamping onto the die cut circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

As our September Class is all about the lovely Spotlight on Nature Bundle, along with the Country Lace DSP, I thought I would share an extra project with you using these products.

The colours in the Country Lace DSP are so soft & pretty.  I’ve gone with Basic White, Smokey Slate & Petal Pink.  I tossed in a little of the Misty Moonlight to add a little WOW to the project.

Today I am sharing a card created last month but had actually forgotten to do so.

It has been created with the Sketch Butterflies Bundle along with the bright & bold Full of Life 6 x 6 DSP.  Don’t you just love these papers?

The large butterfly was coloured & blended with Stampin’ Blends – Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight.  The background was embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder – one of my very favourites.

If you love Flowers & Butterflies, then you will love today’s card.  It is so soft & pretty with touches of colour to make it pop!

The paper is from the Country Lace DSP while the flowers have been inked with Smokey Slate & Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Write Markers prior to stamping onto the die cut circle from the Spotlight on Nature Dies.

The butterfly has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured & blended with Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends prior to being fussy cut & adhere to the card front.

The Basic Grey & Smokey Slate Pearls finish our card off perfectly.

Tomorrow sees the Early BIrd Registration of the August MIni Album Class close.  After that, you will still be able to purchase th eclass but you may notice that the price has gone up.
