Kylie’s International Blog Hop

Detailed-Dragonfly-1---ClosG’Day Stampers.

Once again I am taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop for March.  Thank you so much for everyone who voted for me last month.  It is always very much appreciated.

This month the theme is Encouragement.

I love sending out encouragement cards or “Just Because”.  Isn’t this one of the reasons we create?  Do you know of anyone you can send encouragement to?  Maybe a Get Well Soon – or WOW, You are Amazing, even a Thank You card?  I’m sure they would appreciate it.  My card went off in the mail yesterday & is winging its way overseas.

For my card today, I decided to have a play with the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits along with the Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set but of course I didn’t end up using the stamp onlyDetailed-Dragonfly-1---Insi the Thinlits.  The sentiment is from Perennial Birthday which has some of the nicest sentiments.

By clicking on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own card.  The tutorial includes both the products used & the measurements (metric & imperial).

To vote for me, head onto Kylie’s Blog.  While there, be sure to check out all the lovely creations created by the other Demos who are playing along this month.

G’Day Stampers.

Once again I am taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop for January.

Thank you to everyone who voted for me last month as I happened to be one of the Top Ten winners.

This month the theme is Encouragement.

Do you know anyone you can send encouragement to?  Maybe a Get Well Ssoon – or WOW, You are Amazing, even a Thank You card?  This is a great way to think of something that you want to build up and give some love.  Another option that I use a lot is “Just Because”.

Do you recognize my card?  I will be honest with you & say my inspiration came from the front cover of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.  It just goes to show that inspiration can come from everywhere.

bloom-by-bloom---insideTo create my card I’ve used my favourite DSP from the Occasions Catalogue & that is the Gingham GalaI’ve teamed it up with a stamp set that I just can’t seem to get enough of & that is the Bloom by Bloom set.  I didn’t really think I would like it but oh how I was wrong!

By clicking on the link below you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own card.  The tutorial includes both the products used & the measurements (metric & imperial).

Tranquil Textures Suite

G’Day Stampers.  It is that time once again where I am taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop for July.  Where does the time go?  It only seems like yesterday that we were hopping along with Kylie

This month the theme is – TRAVEL.

As I had the Tranquil Textures Suite still sitting on my desk from a project I had created, Sea-of-Textures---InsideI decided to challenge myself & come up with something using what was in front of me – scraps of this & that.  After seeing a couple of small squares of the DSP & not wanting to toss them in the bin I sort of then played for a bit until I was happy with the final result.  Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.

Mind you, the Sea of Textures Stamp Set has the perfect sentiment for Travel, don’t you think?

Not sure of what is Kylie’s International Highlights?   It is where Demonstrators from all around the world take part in a monthly Blog Highlight.  It’s a great way to get to know other Demonstrators & see projects using current Stampin’ Up!® product.

What is so different about this Blog Highlight?  YOU get to vote for your top 5 favourites.  The top ten will then get to take part in an international blog hop with Kylie & other talented demonstrators.

What do I do?  All you have to do is click on the “Vote for Me” photo at the side or head on over to Kylie’s Blog, click on the heart in the top right hand side of the picture.

For You

c2ab7-international2bhighlights2bheader2bvote2bfav

I’m taking part in Kylie’s International Highlights Hop this month where it is all about Sarah which means we can share what we love with others.  She has demonstrators thinking of ways that we can make a difference in the lives of others.  Usually the people that get forgotten are the ones that are putting forth amazing ideas just like Sara.

My card is one we created in our colouring class a few weeks ago.  I have shared it on the Demos Page but not with you so I thought this would be the perfect card for Sara.Remarkable-You---Inside  I love the Remarkable You Stamp Set.  We used our Blender Pens & Pacific Point Ink to colour & blend our flowers while Old Olive was used for the leaves.

The colours are way out of my comfort zone but that is what teaching is all about – to take a risk & create something different.  Happy to report the class loved it.

G’Day Stampers,

Today I am once again taking part in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights where this month it is all about “LOVE”.  Thank you so much for everyone who voted for me last month.  It was very much appreciated.Lovely-Words---Inside

I wanted to challenge myself to creating with older product & not something from SAB or the Occasions Catalogue.  I think I have done so except for the Brushos.  I really have to stop myself from using these all the time.  Although in saying that I’ve only used the Gamboge & Yellow on my card today.  Mind you, it is nothing what I started out to create but I’m happy with it especially the colours.

I’ve kept my card all Whisper White except for touches of Cherry Cobbler which I think only highlights the Whisper White even more.

Heartfelt Blooms

Today I am again taking part in Kylie’s International Blog Highlights where our theme this month is our favourite Sale-a-Bration Or Occasions Catalogue Product.  This is the perfect time to celebrate, showcase & see all our lovely products!

The top ten will then get to take part in an international blog hop with Kylie & other Vote for Me Heretalented successful demonstrators.

What do I do?  All you have to do is click on the “Vote for Me” photo at the side or head on over to Kylie’s Blog, click on the heart in the top right hand side of the picture.  I’m #21!

I created a simple set of cards using the lovely Note Cards & Envelopes using the gorgeous Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set.  The set is from Sale-A-BrationHeartfelt-Blooms---Island-I & can be yours when you spend $AUD90.

Card #1 – The gorgeous flower was stamped direct onto a Note Card top left hand corner in Island Indigo Ink.  I then stamped it twice onto a piece of Whisper White CS in each corner before layering it onto a piece of Island Indigo CS & then to the Base Card.  The sentiment is from the same set (loving the font in this set) & stamped in Island Indigo.

Heartfelt-Booms---Rose-RedTo complete the card I scattered a couple of Pearl Basic Jewels around the front.

Card #2 – The card has been created the same way except I’ve used Rose Red Ink & CS.

Be sure to check out all the other lovely creations when you pop on over to Kylie’s Blog .  While there be sure to vote for the ones you love & leave them a little love!

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

I actually created my card for a new baby taking the layout from a sketch I saw on Pinterest.  Thank you for the inspiration so that I could create my card.

Welcome to the Top Ten October Winners Blog Hop!   Do you remember my post from a couple of weeks ago asking for you to vote?  Check it out by clicking on Sympathy”.  Thank you to every one of you who took the time to vote – it worked!  Because of your votes, myself & 9 other lucky talented Demonstrators (from across the world) get to hop along with Kylie (Australia’s #1 Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator).   I feel very honoured to be among this group, so thank you once again!

You are visiting from Stesha Bloodhart’s who hails from the USA.

Last month the theme was Sympathy.  It’s one of those cards that we only create if necessary & unfortunately this one is necessary. Well, for this blog hope, it is the sameOh-So-Eclectic1---Close-Up theme but creating a new project.  I have had my card sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks now wondering how to fix a huge blunder but I think I have managed to cover it.  Can you pick it?  Hint – it is now covered by the 3 Facted Gems…..  Love it when you can cover mistakes!
