Vintage Victorian Romance Digital Papers by Lavender Blu

G’Day Friends,

Once again it’s time to share another Design Team project for Lavender Blu.  I’m still playing with the lovely Vintage Victorian Romance Digital Kit.  The images in these papers are so real & absolutely stunning.  They would make such a lovely album.

The paper was randomly chopped into 3 pieces prior to being adhered to coloured Cardstock.  A 2nd piece of the same paper was printed, the rose fussy cut prior to being adhered over the top of the original.  This give such a POP to your projects & really compliments the beautiful paper even further.

Supplies

  • Vintage Victorian Romance Digital Papers – Lavender Blu Journals
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock – Stampin’ Up!
  • Alabaster White Cardstock – Paper Rose Studio

Lavender Blu Design Team Project with Vintage Victorian Romance Digital Papers

G’Day Friends,

It’s time to share my first May Design Team project for Lavender Blu.  I’ve used the very lovely Vintage Victorian Romance Digital Kit for my card today.

It was a little hard to select the paper from this kit as they are all so lovely.  I find this is the hardest when working with papers.  Then I had to decide on a layout & what I was going to do.

If you subscribe to my Newsletter, then you would have alaready received this project, along with the PDF Tutorial on how it was created.

The paper was scunched, distressed & inked prior to being layered onto a Cherry Blossom Cardstock layer.  I distressed the edges on this layer too, along with the circles & strip along the card front.

The sentiment is from the Sketched Aster Stamp Set & was stamped in Crumb Cake Ink.

Lavender Blu Design Team Project #2 for April

G’Day Friends,

I have another project to share with you today in the form of a Birthday Card created from the Touch of Teal Digital Kit from Lavender Blu Digitals.  Click on the links to head on over to Fiona’s Esty Shop.

Taking my inspiration from the papers, I randomly chopped them into pieces prior to scrunching each piece into a ball, unscrunching & sponging Antique Linen Ink around all the edges & over the raised areas of each piece.

Each piece was then randomly adhered to a layer of Coconut Cream Shimmer Cardstock before sponging Ink around the edges.

A Birthday Sentiment was stamped with Antique Linen Ink & punch with a Circle Punch.

Supplies

  • Touch of Teal Digital Kit – Lavender Blu Journals
  • Coconut Cream Shimmer Cardstock – Paper Rose Studio
  • Antique Linen Ink – Tim Holtz
  • Circle Punch – Stampin’ Up!
  • Simply Said Stamp Set – Stampin’ Up!

April Design Team Project for Lavender Blu

G’Day Friends,

I’m back with another Team Project for Lavender Blu.  This time I’m playing with the gorgeous Touch of Teal Digital Kit which is way out of my comfort zone but I am really happy with the finished project.

I started off by selecting my main papers, followed by a little Ephemera & then a sentiment.  Easy peasy, right?  Not really.  From then on, I sort of chopped & changed the layout until I had something I was happy with.

The middle section has been die cut with Stitched Rectangles Dies.  All pieces of the Coconut Cream Shimmer Cardstock & the paper have been sponged with Antique Linen Ink.

The bottom layer of Coconut Cream Shimer Cardstock was randomly stamped with a Script Stamp that I’ve had in my supplies for yonks & yonks but it suited this card prefectly.  The edges were sponged with the same ink prior to adhering to the Base Card.

Supplies

  • Touch of Teal Digital Kit – Lavender Blu Journals
  • Coconut Cream Shimmer Cardstock – Paper Rose Studio
  • All Occasions Sentiments – Paper Rose Studio
  • Stitched Rectangle Dies – Paper Rose Studio
  • Antique Linen Ink – TimHoltz

Lavender Blu Journals Design Team Project

G’Day Friends,

I have another Lavender Blu Journals Design Team project to share with you today.  Once again, it has been created with the Sweet Shabby Easter Kit.

Head on over to Fiona’s Esty Shop, by clicking HERE.

My card is another that headed off to Meals on Wheels as part of the Homemade Cards for Seniors Australia Group.   If you are in Australia & would like to join in, please click on the link to request to join.  Currently we are creating Easter Cards until mid-March.

I love the soft blues, pinks, apricots, greens & purples in this kit.  The bunnies are so cute too.

To create the card, I added a small pocket to the card front so that I could slide a few eggs or bunnies in & out.  You could also add a gift card too if you wanted & then add your elements to the pocket.

It was finished off with Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Supplies

Cardstock –

  • Basic White Smooth – Paper Rose Studio
  • Fresh Freesia – Stampin’ Up!

Until next time, Happy Crafting.
