Whispering Wings | Lexi Design | Design Team Project

Sometimes inspsirtaion can come from the strangest places for our projects.  This is one of them.  My inspiration come from a scrapbook page that I’ve been designing the past few weeks.  It is nearly ready for a class – In Person & as a Craft @ Home Kit.

The gorgeous background papers are the Wispering Wings Background Papers while the images are the Whispering Wings Illustrations both by Lexi Design.

The card was an original square card that I built the pages onto.  The front is a little pocket that you able to fit a Gift Card Holder, Money or a little note inside.

It then flips out both ways to form a small concertina fold for photos with little tuck spots.

It was a real struggle to choice what Illustrations I was gonna use to create my Mini Folio.  Perfect for Easter to scrap all your photos of the holiday.It will hold up to 24 photos, maybe a few more.

Lexi Design | Design Team Project | Mini Folio

G’Day Friends,

I have exciting news to share with you – I was selected to be a design team member for Lexi Design.  I was/am so excited but nervous at the same time.  They are a Polish digital company  which means you are able to download the collections that you chose to purchase.  Beleieve me, their digital papers, graphics, images are simply stunning.

For my 1st project, I decided to create a Mini Folio so that I could showcase these beautiful products.  I’ve used the Meadow Whisper – Flowers along with the Meadow Whisper Backgrounds Papers 2.

The flowers for the Belly Band have been fussy cut.  Aren’t the just the most beautiful bunch you’ve seen?  The rings were fussy cut too & popped up in the middle.

There are 2 different sized pockets on the inside including a fold out flap on the left side which could hold more photos or a little journalling.

The Waterfall can hold up to 7 photos & is held down by a booklet that will hold 2 or 3 photos.  Again, you could also do a little journalling inside if you wish.

Aren’t the papers so stunning?  Look at those soft colours & graphics.

Uniquely Creative | Documenting 2025 | Month by Month

G’Day Friends,

Today’s post is all about creating a 6 x 8 Scrapbook Album where we’re able to document the year month by month.

I know what you are thinking – “but these are Pages 3 & 4!”  Yep, Pages 1 & 2 sort of was an afterthought but it will all make sense as we go along.

Check out the bright colours & the pretty flowers on this page.  Don’t they just jumpout at you?

I love the big butterfly popping out at the top of the page.  I am also loving the huge clusters of flowers which were all fussy cut.  Again, the colours just shout summer!

Page 4 is a very simple one as it is always great to have room for lots of photos which is what this page is all about.  It fits 3 x 3″ x 4″ photos.  You can cut the photos down a little more so that the pretty pattern papers are showing around the sides of the photos, pop the photos over the top or remove the papers & pop your photos in.  Easy!
