Coastal Bliss Card Making Kit for Across the Waves

G’Day Friends,

Aren’t the colours on this card so pretty?  Change out the sentiment for a completely different look or even stamp your sentiment straight onto the Pattern Paper.

Card #2 from Hidden Creek Collection with 8 x 8 OSW Template

G’Day Friends,

I have Card #2 for you using the 8 x 8 OSW created for the Hidden Creek Collection by Arden Creative Studio.  I am also continuing with the square cards throughout the series.

It was also part of our Anything Goes Saturday which you can see Robbie’s project by clicking HERE.

At the last moment I decided to pull out the Stencil which goes with this Collection.  It was stencilled over the White space as well as the Pattern Paper.

8 x 8 OSW Card #1 with Hidden Creek Collection

G’Day Friends,

I have a new Collection to share with you for our Anything Goes Saturday.  This Collection is way out of my comfort zone but I love everything about it.  It’s good to get out of your comfort zone, right?

I decided to go with square cards throughout the month for this Collection.  I think they may look even more special with this type of card.

Don’t you love the colours & the butterflies?  The flowers are just so dainty too.  I can see myself creating with this Collection until the cows come home!

Across the Waves with Coastal Bliss Card Kit Collection

During the month of March, Robbie & myself will be caseing ourselves from March last year.  It’s gonna be a lot of fun to see what we come up with & to where we will end.

Anything Goes Saturday Easy Birthday Card with Fairies & Forest Animals

G’Day Friends,

I have another easy card for you to create today.  It has been taken from an old sketch layout I found in amongst my books.  Scroll down to download the Layout.

The card has been created with Uniquely Creative’s latest Collection – Serenity.  It is full of lovely soft purples & greens with lots of flowers, forest animals, faires, butterflies & dragonflies.  Simply gorgeous.

Supplies

  • Serenity Card Kit Collection – Uniquely Creative
  • Cardstock – Basic White Smooth – Paper Rose Studio

Measurements –

  • Cards & Envelopes – Base Card
  • Basic White Smooth – 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″ / 13.9cm x 9.5cm
  • Pattern Paper – 5 3/8″ x 3″ / 13.6cm x 7.6cm

Tutorial –

  1. Ensuring short side of Pattern Paper is along top of Paper Trimmer, chop at 1″ from left side
  2. Adhere smaller Pattern Paper piece to bottom of Basic White Smooth Cardstock leaving a small amount of Basic White Smooth showing around all sides
  3. Ensuring sides are even, adhere larger Pattern Paper piece to top of Basic White Smooth Cardstock leaving a small amount of Basic White Smooth showing around all sides
  4. Adhere Basic White Smooth layer to Base Card
  5. Arrange & decorate Creative Cuts, Die Cuts, Ephemeria, stamped images, etc as desired
  6. Complete card by adding Embellishment
