Guest Designer for Paper Rose Studio Easter Card #1

G’Day Friends,

Last month I was asked to be a Guest Designer for Paper Rose Studio.  Of course, I jumped at the chance.  I adore Karen’s product – Papers, Die Cuts, Dies, etc.  They have it all.

So today, I am sharing one of the cards created with the fun Easter Time Basics, Easter Time Patterns 6 x 6 Paper Collections along with the Easter Time Embossed Die Cuts.

Check out those pretty papers with all the bunnies, flowers & gnones.  I love the soft pastel colours in this Collection.  Perfect for Easter!

Anything Goes Saturday Mini Album – Part 1

I am creating a Mini Album this month for our Anything Goes Saturday.  Click HERE to see what Robbie has created.

In the video today, I share how I created the cover & spine to create the Album.  The actual album cover size will be 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 with a 1 3/4″ spine.

Measurements –

Chipboard –

  • 2 x 6 1/2″ x 6 1/2″
  • 1 x 1 3/4″ x 6 1/2″

Cardstock –

  • 2 x 8 1/4″ x 8 1/4
  • 1 x 3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″

Across the Waves with Vellum

It’s a new month & that means Robbie & I are sharing ideas on using Vellum.  Be sure to click HERE to check out what Robbie has created.

I decided to start off with a little Basic Embossing while adding a piece of Pattern Paper to pop the Vellum a little & to highlight it.  To make the card even pop a little more, a die cut frame was adhered around the outside of the Vellum.

  • Bsaic White Smooth Cardstock – Paper Rose Studio
  • Vellum – My Stash
  • Grunge – Light Tones Pattern Paper – Craft Consortium

Measurements –

  • Base Card – 8 1/4″ x 5 7/8″ / 20.9cm x 14.9cm
  • Pattern Paper – 1 x 3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″ / 9.8cm x 14.2cm
  • Basic White Smooth – 1 x 4″ x 5 3/4″ / 10.1cm x 14.6cm
  • Vellum – 1 x 3 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ / 9.5cm x 13.9cm

Sympathy Card with Butterflies for Across the Waves

G’Day Friends,

I have an easy sympathy Card to share with you today. In saying that, you could change it out to whatever occasion you like.

This is our last share for February where thorughout the month, Robbie & myself have been creating with our Dies.  Be sure to check out all the other ideas by clicking on the links below.

I only have scraps of the Inky Colour 6 x 6 Collection, so luckily, I was able to find a piece for the strip down the middle of the butterflies.  To highlight it even more, strips of Gold Foil were added to the sides prior to adhering to a piece of Basic White Smooth Cardstock.

To complete the card, this layer was then adhered to a piece of Gold Foil & then finally to the Basic White Smooth Base Card.
