Pretty Pattern Papers

As our next lot of “Pretty Pattern Papers ” Tutorial is coming up this Saturday, I thought I would share with you a card created from one of the sketches.

Pretty Pattern Papers is all about using that stash of DSP you have hiding in the back of your cupboard or sitting on your shelves just waiting to be used but your afraid to cut into it.

Let’s face it, we all have heaps of DSP in our stash just waiting to be used.  Some of us are 1.2 Aprilnot sure how to use it, but we love it!  Others of us just don’t want to cut into it, we love it too much!  The result – even though we keep buying it because it is just so pretty & we have to have it, it goes into that pile in the cupboard for a “rainy day”, never to be used or to see the light of day!

Well, Pretty Pattern Papers is what will help you to use that DSP Stash.  In the middle of each month, we release Pretty Pattern Papers  showcasing a sketch & 3 cards created from the sketch, all using your one lot of DSP.   The tutorial includes Measurements – Imperil & Metric plus Measurements for all 3 cards.  The sketches are able to be used over & over.

My card uses product from this year’s SAB – Wildflower Fields – BUT you are able to change it out with one of the new DSP from the current catalogue.  In fact, if you check back in a couple of days, you will see the same card created with different Papers.

For more information, be sure to check out our Pretty Pattern Papers Page.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

1.--April

Happy Birthday

I’ve been playing with the Feather Dies (Retired) of late & Washi Tape.  In fact, I had a couple of requests from a Market I did early in February.  Funny how things happen.  Usually, I have a request for a particular card but this time round I had about 6 enquiries if I had any cards with feathers on them.

This one is one of the first ones I sold at the market this month.  In fact, I could have sold it about 6 times, but as I only create 1 of a kind, it is usually “first in, best dressed” unless I have a particular request, then I will set about creating another.

The “Feather” Dies have long since retired, but I kept them especially for my market customers.  Love them.  Mind you I didn’t use them at all when they were current.

If you don’t have these Dies, then not a hassles as all you have to do is substitute them for flowers, leaves, etc to create the same card.  If you don’t have Washi Tape, then use DSP in lieu of.

Make a Wish

It turns out that February was full of birthdays for me, especially the middle of the month!003wmb-blog

Today’s card has been created using the “Party with Cake” Bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue.  You may even recognise the card as I have case’d (Copy & Share Everything) it from Page 7 of the Catalogue.  All I did was change the colours & paper!

I’ve had this set sitting on my shelf for a little while now & decided to break it open.  It is my goal this year to use at least 1 different stamp set a week!

I hope you had a lovely birthday Beth!

Don’t forget, you can grab your free tutorial to create your own card by clicking on the link above the photo.
