A huge thank you once again, to everyone who has been supporting us throughout our adventure/s. It is very much appreciated.
Each month we release a set of 3 cards using DSP (Designer Series Paper), along with a Sketch, Supplies, Measurements & Instructions. It is a way to get you to use up that lovely stash of Paper you have sitting in your cupboard. The sketches are able to be used over & over so that you are creating entirely different looks.
This month we are playing with the lovely DSP Stack – Playful Palette. I will admit although I love the papers I was finding them very hard to use. Now that I have cut into it, ideas are flowing!
Throughout the month, I will be creating more cards using this lovely paper, so be sure to pop back to check them out.
We hope you will join us this month. To purchase your Tutorial, please click on the Pretty Pattern Papers Page.
Before we get into my card today, I just wanted to say that I created it for 2 challenges but then forgot to post it. As a result, 1 of the challenges closed which is the layout of the card, but that is ok as I am still happy with the card & it made it easy for me to create my card.
The challenge over at Sunday Stamps was to use “Shades of Blue” along with a pop of green & grey. I will admit that I don’t use these colours together very often but when I do, I love them! It is always good to create outside your comfort zone, so thank you Sunday Stamps for a great challenge..
Don’t forget, if you click above the photo you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own card. The tutorial includes Supplies & Measurements (Imperial & Metric).
Last month Bronwen brought in a yummy Pistachio cake she had made for our Technique Class. I am a lover of Pistachios so this suited me down to the ground. Thanks so much Bron. We all very much appreciated it, but even more appreciated would have been her girls as she managed to take some home with her.
I thought I would send her off a small card to show my appreciation, so created a very easy card using the limited “Perfectly Artistic” DSP which was in the 2016 SAB. I teamed it up with the “Picture Perfect” Stamp Set from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue.
Don’t forget, you only 2 weeks to earn & grab FREE items from the 2016 SAB. This ends 31 March 2016.

February is a month full of birthdays for me & when I saw the challenge over at Can You Case It? I knew that I had to play along as I needed yet another birthday card. I also had the perfect stamp – Picture Perfect – set sitting on my desk, along with left over Card from another project.
I’ve created a very CAS (clean and simple) card for this challenge as I wanted the image to pop on my card. Looking at the card now I would probably have used Gold Thread in lieu of the left over strands from my Ribbon, but I’m happy with it. I only hope Sharon is too. Hope you had a lovely day Sharon!
Thank you to CYSI for yet another great challenge.
