… for “Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild“. This is a challenge FB Page run by the very talented Connie Stewart. I’ve been a member of this page for some time but have never managed to play along with any of her challenges. As part of our challenge this week or weekend is to create a project for an online challenge. You can see my 1st challenge card from yesterday here.
I’ve been waiting to find the “perfect” opportunity to ink up the lovely little stamp set “Perfect Mix” from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. This is perfect for anyone who loves baking – boys & girls, male or female.
I wasn’t too sure where I was heading with this card but after playing around with a few options, I decided I liked this one the best, it sort of come together better than the other bits I was playing with.
If you get the time, why not head on over to “Stampin’ Girls Gone Wild” FB Page, hit the join button & play along. Lots of lovely inspiration!

I’m happy to say our next lot of Technique Treatsare alive for you to purchase. You will adore these cards. We are playing at creating our own Marbled Paper using Shaving Cream & Marbles. Well, in my case Sinkers, as I don’t have any Marbles, but I do have heaps of fishing gear. Just goes to show you can compromise with what you have on hand.
Thank you everyone for your patience, it has been very much appreciated & thank you to those of you who emailed me with your good wishes. They were very much appreciate too.
I would also like to take the time to thank everyone who purchased our treats last month. Naomi & I were blown away. I’m not sure whether it was the Techniques or Stamp Set but either way, thank you.
This month we are playing with the lovely “Falling in Love” Stamp Set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. This set is perfect for all occasions, eg wedding, engagement, anniversary or just because. As I’ve said, you will love the cards created using the Techniques & the Stamp Set.

Kay (USA) says – “Thank you so much for making such wonderful tutorials!!!”
Kris (Brisbane) – “Great card and the Technique Treats are really great”.
Both Kay & Kris are SU! Demonstators, so thank you ladies for your lovely comments.
Today I thought I would share with you a couple of Note Cards I have created for my customers. I am trying something a little different this year, so fingers crossed it works. I will fill you in only IF it works!!!!!!
For my cards, I stamped the ladies from “Beautiful You” Stamp Set (available from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue) onto a piece of Whisper White CS using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I coloured them in using the lovely new Watercolour Pencils & Blender Pen. Love my Blender Pen!
The Whisper White Cards were then layered onto a piece of Melon Mambo or Pacific Point CS which highlights the colours.
Only a short post today as I am still recovering, so fingers crossed things will be back to normal in a couple of days.
My nephew got engaged 2 weeks ago so I thought I would try & create a lovely card for them. When I saw the challenge over at TGIFC I knew it was perfect & the perfect excuse to play with some of my new “stuff” that has sort of been sitting in a box on the floor.
My flower was stamped onto Very Vanilla Card with Sweet Sugarplum Ink, coloured with Pink Pirouette & Sweet Sugarplum Markers, blended a little with the Blender Pen & fussy cut. I’m happy with how it turn out. It was popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional, along with the lovely LaceDoily which is White one side & Vanilla the other.
To make it stand out a little more, I then decided to die cut a couple of leaves using the May Flowers Framelits from Sahara Sand Card (love this colour). They were adhered under the flower.
For the inside, I used a little of same lovely “Falling in Love” DSP as the front along with the gorgeous Ribbon which was adhered to a piece of Very Vanilla & then to the inside.
I hope they like the card & thank you to TGIFC for your great challenge.

If you have seen the 2017 SAB Catalogue, you will have seen the great little “Hey, Chick”Stamp Set. They are just so cheeky & I will admit I am a lover of chooks. Today’s post is showcasing this set once again. In fact, I started out casing the Card on Page 16 but it soon took off on its own. It was perfect for a couple of Thank You Cards I needed this month.
You can find another card using the same set here.
Yep, I’ve used the fantastic Watercolour Pencils from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. As you have probably seen over the internet, we are all crazy about them. Be sure to add them to your supplies, you too will love them.
By clicking on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card.
Don’t forget to use the Hostess Code when purchasing online.
My post today is using the gorgeous “Beautiful You” from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Last week, we had a challenge to create a card or project using something from the new Occasions Catalogue. Well, with everything going on, I have only just managed to do mine, but hey, better late than never.
In fact, I’ve created the cards to send out to my customers in January. I did a couple in each colour.
Have you noticed the “Brick Wall”? I created that with the Early Espresso Watercolour Pencil & then softened the lines & a little blending with my Blender Pen. I also “Paper Pieced” my dress.
Just a reminder to use the January Hostess Code when placing an order Online, as you will receive a free gift at the end of the month.

As promised, today’s post is a stepped up version of the one I posted on Tuesday. You can also find the Free Tutorial there too.
All I’ve done is introduce a couple of extra pieces of Card. I’ve stamped my images direct onto a piece of Whisper White Card before layering onto a piece of Watermelon Wonder Card & then to the Base Card – Dapper Denim.
I die cut a piece of Watermelon Wonder with the Layered Circles Framelits before layering behind the Stitched Circle but only to 1 side. To finish my card I then adhered Rhinestones to the Card Front instead of the Metallic Sequin Assortments.
Why don’t you try stepping up a couple of cards – it will create another whole new WOW!
Don’t forget SAB 2017 & the 2017 Occasions Catalogue start 4 January 2017. For every $AUD90.00 you spend (excluding P&H), you can choice a FREE product from the SAB 2017. Of course, the more you spend, the more free stuff you receive.
I thought I would share a sneak peek at one of the fun Stamp Sets available while SAB 2017 is on. Don’t forget this starts 4 January through to 31 March 2017. All you have to do is spend $90.00 (excluding P&H) & receive any of the products available in the SAB 2017 Catalogue for FREE. Of course, the more you spend, the more FREE products you receive.
You may recognise the card, as it is the one on the cover of the Catalogue. Yep, I’ve cased it. Sometimes, doing this helps me to get ideas on how to use certain Stamp Sets or products. You could always chop & change to suit yourself.
I am so happy that SU! now have Watercolour Pencils – I have missed them. Yep, they will be available for purchase in the new 2017 Occasions Catalogue. Use them with your Blender Pen or Aqua Painter.
Be sure to stop by in a couple of days, as I have a stepped up version of the card.
By clicking on the link below, you are able to download your FREE Tutorial which includes all the Products used, Measurements (Imperial & Metric) & the Tutorial to create your card.
It has seemed like forever since my last post, so fingers crossed, I will be posting again as from this week.
I thought I would share with you a card I did for my friend & downline some time ago. Naomi held her very first Workshop way back in early October & it was a huge success. Good on you Naomi. Bring on 2017!
Sorry there is no tutorial for you to print today as the card was rushed off in the mail the day I created it. I am going to try & remember what I did from the photo, so please be kind to me.
I randomy stamped the large image from the “Falling Flowers” Stamp Set onto a piece of Whisper White Card in VersaMark Ink allowing it to dry a little. With a Stamping Sponge, I sponged a piece of Whisper White Card with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight & Pumpkin Pie Inks before adhering to a panel of Basic Black Card. The piece was layered onto a piece of Whisper White before layering onto the Base Card – Basic Black.
I stamped the Flower Images & the Leaf Images onto scraps of Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Ink, coloured them with my Blender Pen using Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Inks. The were then die cut with the coordinating “May Flowers” Framelits by running through the Big Shot before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals & Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
From memory I may have even gone over the flowers with the Clear Wink of Stella to give it a lift.
It is a very simple card but I think with the sponged panel it gives it a “WOW” factor.
When the 2016 Holiday Catalogue first come out, a card on Page 3 popped out at me. As I don’t have the stamp set they used, I do have my favourite “A Day at the Beach“, which I payed with to create my version.
I am a lover of non-traditional Christmas & I think this card is Australia to a “T”. It will be in my part of the world anyhow. I am spending part of Christmas Day on the beach. Where will you spending your day?
