A Little Thanks

I’ve used the Emboss Resist Technique on my card today.  It happens to be one of the 7 August - TTTechniques from our current Technique Treats, along with the Double Embossing Technique.  I will be honest & say that this is one of my favourite techniques.  All kinds of possibilities.  I’ve also used the “Swirly Bird” Bundle.

I wasn’t too sure what I was going to do with the piece once I had created it, but then decided to cut it into pieces to create a Mosaic Background.  I’m very happy with the card now.

For a Free Tutorial on how I created my card, please click on the link above the photo.  It also includes all the supplies & measurements (Imperial & Metric).

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Fine Feathers

For our card in Crafty Creations this afternoon, I took my inspiration from a set of cards I found on Pinterest some time ago.

I did add a couple more layers – Soft Sky & Early Espresso.  The ladies loved how a simple little card could have such a huge impact.

I also love how I can reuse some of my favourite stamp sets which have now retired & “Fine Feathers” being one of them.

We used the Emboss Resist Technique to create our card.

Don’t forget, you can create your own card by clicking on the link below.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’.

Best Wishes

My card today is one we created in our Technique Class a couple of Sundays ago.  It is using the gorgeous “Irresistibly021bb-blog Yours” DSP from the SALE-A-BRATION Catalogue which ends Tuesday, 31st March.  This DSP may be earned FREE when you spend $AUD90.00 less P&H, but you will have to be quick as you only have 4 days to go.

We also used the lovely “Painted Petals” Stamp Set which is in the current Occasions Catalogue, Page 19.

With lots of sponging, stamping adding a little Button, Twine & Rhinestones you have yourself a lovely card.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Emboss Resist…

… meets “Petal Parade!

Our card at Crafty Creations this arvo was using the great little Technique – Emboss Resist.  It doesn’t matter what stamp set, 003in-blogcolours or layout you use when doing this technique, the end result never ceases to amaze me.

With a little bit of Stamping,Heat Embossing & Sponging, you can create a lovely card!

Once we created our layout, we then randomly cut it into 3 pieces.  TO finish it off, we added a small greeting & popped it up onto the Card Front.

I tend to keep my cards fairly simple & plain when doing techniques as I like that to be the focus of the card.

The stamp set is one from SAB 2014, but may be substituted for any solid stamp.
