Realising that I no longer have many stamp sets for males, I went straight for my back up set – “Lovely as a Tree“. It has been sooooooo long since I’ve had a play with this set that I thought it would be great to showcase at our “Cards @ Toogoom” class last Friday week.
As you know this is one of the longest sets available in the Catalogue.
I did start to case the card from the Annual Catalogue, Page 137, but as usual it sort of went off on its own.
The image has been stamped in Chocolate Chip Ink& then coloured & blended using the Watercolour Pencilsbefore being die cut & layered onto a scallop circle & adhered to the Card Front.
For the inside I stamped the same image in Chocolate Chip Ink direct onto a piece of Very Vanilla before adhering to the Old Olive Base Card.

Over the next few days or weeks, I will share with you the cards we created. I do hope you will like them, even better if you are inspired by seeing them.
First off the rank is my card using the gorgeous “Beautiful You” Stamp Set! I call this card “Cartwheels on the Beach”. I love how she looks like she doesn’t have a care in the world with the sun shinning down on her & nothing on her mind but enjoyment.
I’ve used our Watercolour Pencils to create the colours. I especially love the sun shining through the sky. I’m only sorry you can’t see all the pretty sparkle on the card from adding Clear Wink of Stella.

For my card I decided to use the “Nailed It” Bundle from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.
I layered a piece of the “Urban Underground” DSP to a piece of Very Vanilla CS before layering onto the Base Card – Crushed Curry.
I used the “Nailed It” Bundle to create my tools. Firstly I stamped 3 of the Tools from the “Nailed It” Stamp Set onto scraps of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured small areas with the Basic Grey Watercolour Pencil & blended a little with a Blender Pen before cutting with the matching “Build It” Framelits by running through the Big Shot. I added the cute little “smiley face” to the hammer.
I cut a piece of Very Vanilla CS with the large circle from the “Stitched Shapes” Framelits by running through the Big Shot, randomly stamped the circle with the Nails & Screw Image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before adhering to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To highlight the handles a little I added a little Basic Black CS by cutting just the handles using the “Build It” Framelits & adhering to the shapes which were then arranged over the stitched circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
“Happy Birthday” is from the “Sunshine Sayings”Stamp Set & has been stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, punched with the “Classic Label” Punch & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I hope you like my card today.

My card today is one we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class last Friday. Please feel free to come along each Friday morning at 9.30am at the Community Hall.
I’ve been trying to create & showcase some of the lovely product that will be retiring at the end of May & today is no different. I’ve used the cute little Stamp Set – “You’re Sublime”. I love this set & always get a bit of a kick when using it.
To colour my sub I’ve used So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Pool Party & Peekaboo Peach Inks along with my Blender Pen. The little hearts have been coloured using the Real Red Watercolour Pencils.
As Mint Macaron is a 2015-2017 In Colour, it will be retiring this year. I will really miss this colour as it is one of “go to” colours.
Don’t forget to click on the link above the photo to download your Free Tutorial which includes Measurements (Metric & Imperial), as well as a Supply List of all the product I’ve used to create my card.

I created this card when the 2017 Occasions Catalogue first come out as it was part of our Technique Treatsfor January 2017 where we highlighted the “No Line Watercolouring” Technique.
Along with the gorgeous “Beautiful You” Stamp Set, I wanted to highlight the lovely “Blooms & Bliss” DSP which is part of the “Blooms & Bliss” Suite, page 138 of the current Catalogue & which is retiring at the end of May.
The image was stamped onto a piece of Watercolour Paper, stamped in Crumb Cake Ink, cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits & layered onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card which was cut using the Layering Ovals Framelits.
The image was coloured with the Rich Razzleberry Watercolour Pencil & an Aqua Painter.
The flowers were cut from Rich Razzleberry & Melon Mambo Card by running the small Flower from the “Botanical Builder” Framelits through the Big Shot. They were then adhered to the Card Front & Pearl Basic Jewels adhered to the centres.

…. is one of my favourites & is on the Retirement List.
I love this set & haven’t used it in awhile, so I thought I would share with you a card I did a couple of weeks ago inspired from a card I found on Pinterest. Thank you Alison for your inspiration.
I layered a piece of “Floral Boutique” DSP to a Whisper White Card Base.
2 flowers from “Remarkable You” Stamp Set were stamped direct onto scrap Whisper White CS in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink before being coloured with Melon Mambo & OldOlive Watercolour Pens & Aqua Painter. Once dry, I then fussy cut both images before adhering them to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The leaves were cut from Old Olive CS by running through the Big Shot with the Rose Garden Thinlits, trimming down to have only the leaves before adhering to the Card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
The sentiment is from the “Lift Me Up” Stamp Set, stamped onto a piece of scrap Whisper White CS, fussy cut & adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A small bow was then tied from Whisper White Baker’s Twine (retired) & adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.
For the inside, I adhered a piece of the same “Floral Boutique” DSP to a piece of Whisper White CS & adhered it inside.
It’s a very quick card but one with a punch with just the pop of Melon Mambo in the flowers.
Don’t forget to grab your set before it is gone forever.
I saw a great sketch over at Freshly Made Sketchesyesterday & thought it would be perfect to showcase the “Grateful Bunch” Stamp Set & the matching “Blossom” Punch both of which are retiring.
To create my card I stamped the leaf direct onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Wild Wasabi Ink. I created a small faux stitched border around the Card using a Ruler & the Marina Mist Stampin’ Write Marker. I didn’t go with Pacific Point as I wanted to tone it down a little.
I then stamped the large Sunflower onto a scrap of Whisper White in Archival Basic Grey Ink, coloured with the Pacific Point Watercolour Pencil & Blender Pen before fussy cutting.
I stamped the group of flowers a number of times onto Whisper White with Archival Basic Grey Ink including extra small flowers, coloured with the Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo Watercolour Pencils & Blender Pen. I punched all flowers using the “Blossom” Punch.
Clear Wink of Stella was applied to the flowers to add shine & to bring out the colour a little more. Gold Wink of Stella (retiring) was applied to centre of the large flower.
Marina Mist strips were adhered to both sides of the stamped Whisper White before layering onto a piece of Whisper White & then to the Base Card – Pink Pirouette.
The flowers were arranged onto the Card Front & adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue & Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment is from the “Love & Affection” Stamp Set (retiring) & is stamped onto a piece of Whisper White in Archival Basic Grey Ink before cutting back to size & layered onto a piece of Marina Mist. Both ends were then punched using the “Banner Triple”Punch & adhering to the Card Front.
To complete the card I added Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the centre of the flowers & randomly scattered a couple over the front.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf onto Whisper White in Wild Wasabi Ink & added the extra flowers left over from the front.
Thank you ladies for a great challenge. Just what I needed to help showcase the sweet “Grateful Bunch” Stamp Set & the matching “Blossom” Punch.

It is using the gorgeous “Avant Garden” Stamp Set, along with the lovey “Serene Scenery” Designer Series Paper Pack.

Today’s card is one we are going to create in our class tomorrow morning. It is using the “Hey Chick” Stamp Set from SAB.
I’m pretty happy with how this card turned out – completely different to what I started out doing, especially the middle chick. She started out as a very subdued colour but she just looked very sad, so I spruced her up in the bright colours of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight. She loved it & instantly come alive.
I then decided to add a little bow on her neck. As I have run out of the Melon Mambo ThickBaker’s Twine, I decided to use the Whisper White Baker’s Twine (retired) which I still have a heap & so it matched in with the card, I sponged Melon Mambo Ink over a piece of Twine with a Stampin’ Sponge. Worked perfectly.

I started by caseing the card from the 2017 SAB Catalogue but it sort of went off on its own. I then found a card on Pinterest that I loved so I ended finishing my card by caseing it. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
