Today is Day 3 of the 12 Days of Christmas.
As I grew up in a small country town way out west, this little song has always stuck in my head. We use to sing it all the time. To this day whenever I see a roo, especially around this time of the year, this song pops into my head.
Now for Day 3 of the Australian version of the 12 Days of Christmas.
“On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me –
A cockie (cockatoo) in a bottlebrush tree
2 flying Doctors,
3 Drovers watching…”
Today it is all about the 2018 Holiday Catalogue as I’ve used the Great Joy Stamp Set which is fantastic for colouring. The stocking has actually been coloured with the Watercolour Pencils, no Blender Pen, no Aqua Painter but with lots of shading with the pencils.
I’ve used the Embossing Paste with a small amount of Crumb Cake Ink Re-Fill to create my background.
