I’ve also incorporated our group’s challenge into the sketch & that is to create a Sympathy Card. This can be a challenging time for any family & a special handmade card can do a lot to let the person know you are thinking of them.
Base Card – Basic Black Cardstock – Cut, Score & Fold
Layer 1 – Very Vanilla Cardstock – 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ or 14.5cm x 10cm
Adhere to base card
Layer 2 – DSP – 5 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ x 14cm x 9.5cm
Adhere to Very Vanilla Cardstock
Layer 3 – Very Vanilla Cardstock – 3″ x 3″ or 7.5cm x 7.5cm
Using Embossing Folder – Perfect Polka Dots, run through Bigshot
Adhere to DSP – RHS
Layer 4 – Basic Black Cardstock – 5 3/4″ x 1″ or 14.5cm x 2.5cm
Layer 5 – Ribbon & adhere to Basic Black Cardstock & adhere across middle of card
Layer 6 – Basic Black Cardstock – 2″ x 2″ or 5.5cm x 5.5cm
Using SU Dimensionals, adhere to card
Layer 7 – Very Vanilla Cardstock – 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″ or 5cm x 5cm
Using Versamark, EP – Black & Heat Tool, stamp image onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, heat until EP is set. Let cool
Adhere to Basic Black Cardstock
I think this is a great take on the sketch. Such hard cards to make.
Beautiful card- love the DSP you used and the ribbon to lighten up the middle strip. Lovely Sympathy card.
Wonderful take on the sketch – you can't go wrong with the stunning combination of B&W! Thanks for playing along with the BC!
Gorgeous creation, love the black & white. Love the patterns on this card. Thanks for playing with us at the Blogger's Challenge.
