As I was a bit short on time this month, I only sent out 4 cards but that still gives me such delight knowing that someone around the world will be getting “happy mail” & maybe bring a smile to their day.
For the month of June, I wanted to create my cards with colours & a set that I hadn’t used in some time, so I went with Elegant Eggplant & Rose Red. I teamed the colours with Very Vanilla & “Touches of Texture” Stamp Set. As was the case last month, the cards were posted early on in the month & before I could write up a tutorial.
For the Elegant Eggplant Card I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla Card with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder before layering onto a Elegant Eggplant Base Card.
I stamped the Flower image onto a piece of Very Vanilla Card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, coloured & blended with my Blender Pen & Elegant Eggplant Ink. The
piece was die cut using the Layering Oval Framelits & run through the Big Shot. It was layered onto an Elegant Eggplant scallop oval which had been cut using the same Framelits & running through the Big Shot.

The scallop oval was adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals, Pearl Basic Jewels added to the centre of the flowers & randomly scattered around the oval. A small bow was tied from Linen Thread & adhered to the bottom of the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
The sentiment is from “Teeny Tiny Sentiments” Stamp Set. It was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla in Elegant Eggplant Ink, punched with the Classic Label Punch, adhered to a piece of Elegant Eggplant Card which had been punched with the same Punch, cut in half so that a small amount of colour was showing each end & adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I created the Rose Red Card the same way.
I was very happy with the final product, but would love to know what you think. Which is your favourite?
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
Vicky
