Day 4 & counting down….

Today’s card is one we are going to create in our class tomorrow morning.  It is using the “Hey Chick” Stamp Set from SAB.

I’m pretty happy with how this card turned out – completely different to what I started out doing, especially the middle chick.  She started out as a very subdued colour but she just looked very sad, so I spruced her up in the bright colours of Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight.  She loved it & instantly come alive.

I then decided to add a little bow on her neck.  As I have run out of the Melon Mambo Thick Baker’s Twine, I decided to use the Whisper White Baker’s Twine (retired) which I still have a heap & so it matched in with the card, I sponged Melon Mambo Ink over a piece of Twine with a Stampin’ Sponge.  Worked perfectly.

Today’s card is one I had case’d from the 2017 Sale-a-Bration Catalogue when I first received my order, but hadn’t gotten round to posting.

208. Happy Birthday – Designer Tees

I sat down yesterday & created a heap of birthday cards – April is a busy Birthday month for me & I wanted to be ready for posting today.

My card today is one I created for the challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches which once 20170325_090445_resizedblogagain I am just getting there before it closes.  It will be posted out to a friend this arvo.

I love the “Falling Flowers” Stamp Set along with the coordinating “May Flowers” Framelits so not only did I challenge myself to create with them yesterday but I’m happy to say that I created 3 cards with the Bundle & with what supplies I had sitting on my desk at the time but I will show you them over the next week or so.

A challenge is always a great starting point for inspiration especially if you are stuck for ideas.  Be sure to pop on over to FMS & play along or just to see the lovely creations.  Thanks again for a great challenge.

Today’s card is one we are creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class this morning.  I hope 20170322_112448_resizedblogthe ladies like it!

I started by caseing the card from the 2017 SAB Catalogue but it sort of went off on its own.  I then found a card on Pinterest that I loved so I ended finishing my card by caseing it.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

I’m loving my Blender Pen at the moment as the new smooth & improved Watercolour Pencils make it so very easy to use.  I also want the class to play with them as they are very interested in different techniques, so look out class, we will be doing lots of lovely techniques in our future classes.

Technique Treats #14

This month we are playing with the great techniques of Chalkboard & Shadow Stamping.  If you haven’t had a play with these techniques over the years, this is the perfect time to do so.  This month we have played with our format & made it a little easier for you.

We stuck with the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & teamed the techniques up with the lovely “Carousel Birthday” Stamp Set which reminds me so much of the local show with the Ferris Wheel & when the circus came to town with the tent & that gorgeous horse.  In fact, we were always at the grounds of the circus every arvo after school so much so, that they gave us jobs feeding & cleaning the animals.

All 4 cards may be used for Female, Male or for the Kids.

Measurements for all Treats are in Metric & Imperial.  Yep, we cater for everyone no matter where you are in the world.  Supply List includes all Product used to create our cards along with the Item #.
