Yahoooo….

It’s Friday! BUT then I just realised it doesn’t make any difference to me…..except I have a class at the local community centre every Friday.   I hope you have all had a great week & counting down the hours to a relaxing weekend.

I intend to try & weed the garden – have neglected it for sometime, so fingers crossed I am able to get out there into the sunny sun!

I’ve copied this card from the latest catalogue, except changed it around a little.  This is one of the cards I have to admit I hate doing, but they always come up so soft & lovely!

Birthday Card…

I almost forgot to post the matching card.  I did this to match in with the place cards, and as usual had no idea what I was going to do, except I had the colours in my hand ready to go.

Supplies –
Cardstock – Whisper White, Basic Black
DSP – Urban Oasis
Punches – Oval, Scallop Oval

Accessories – Pearl from Pretties Kit, Snail Glue, Stampin Emboss – White, StazOn – Black, Cuttlebug

You are not able to see, but I embossed the same flower on the envelope – black on black.  It come up really lovely as it was just suttle & didn’t stand out
Until tmw – Have a great day!

Vicky
PS  Have I mentioned how I love these new DSP’s…

Birthday…

I can post this now!
This is one of the place cards I made for Robyn the other day for her Birthday Dinner.  I kept it to the Black & White as I think tese colours are very elegant, classt & fresh.  I decided to make them very girlish, but not over the top, so using the Stamp Set – Fifth Avenue – stamped the flower in the left hand corner and then embossed.  They turned out really lovely & was really pleased with the outcome.

As I’ve never used this stamp set previously, I had to borrow from Jenny – Thanks – and boy am I giving it a good ol’ workout!  It is a really plain, but a very soft and lovely set.

Will post a couple more of this set when I have finished them.
Have a great day!
Vicky

I’ve had these cards for quiet sometime, but I do know that I have never posted them.  I had an order for 6 cards using “Wild About You” and the set looked lovely – all very different while at the same time, ensuring that there were cards for baby girls, boys and not yet known!

Card Stock – Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ribbon – Grograin Bashful Blue
Punches – 1 3/8 Round, 1 1/4 Round

Tomorrow I have a couple of different items to post so be on the lookout!

Take care & hope you got the winner!
