Made for You….

… is the card we will be creating this arvo in our Crafty Creations Class.

This is not my idea as I’ve “case’d” it from the web a long time ago.  In fact, I didn’t actually save it but stored it in my mind so that I could use it in one of our Friday’s class.  Please let me know if you recognise it as I would love to give you credit.

Close up of Scallop Edgelit…

I am not normally one for saving cards, but file them in my mind for future use.  I find that if I do save them I never seem to re-create them & they just sit & sit……

If I can remember correctly, I don’t think it was all Stampin’ Up!, so I have adapted some of it to Stampin’ Up!  Don’t you love it when that can occur.  I did play around with trying to get all the measurements correct & even managed to use the Scallop Edgelits from the Finishing Touches Edgelits to work the way I wanted AND it only took 1 go – haha.

It’s a very simple little card, but one with a big impact!

Especially for You…..

Today’s card has been especially created for one of my friends & customers.  Jenny has been in hospital having her knee reconstructed, so thought I would create something with flowers along with being pretty & soft colours.  Hope you are feeling heaps better Jenny & up & walking around by now!!!!
As usual, my hands went straight to “Pink Pirouette” Cardstock – gotta love this colour.  Then to keep with the softness & idea I had in my head, I stayed with Whisper White, added a little Certainly Celery & went with a very simple layout.  I am really happy with the final result.
I did use one item which has been retired & that is the Ribbon, but it could easily be substitued for a current colour.

Card # 2….

… is today’s post.  It is the 2nd card we created in our Technique Class last Sunday.  A smaller size card than the normal standard card, BUT with a twist!

Again, I cased it from one I saw while “travelling around the world“.  I would love to give credit where credit is due.  I did change it a little to fit in with our class & I also incorporated the colours of my Doona.

This gorgeous stamp set is fast becoming my favourite.  It has so much potentional, not just for cards but scrap pages as well.  In fact, I am in the middle of doing my niece’s wedding from last year & I know this is going to perfect for it.

Faux Tiles….

… & By the Seaside make for beautiful cards.  The 2 cards we created last Sunday for our Technique Class used this gorgeous stamp set.

We try to create a standard card along with a card with a different fold or twist.  This week, our first card was an easy one which I saw a little while ago, but am unable to remember where I saw it.  Please let me know if you recognise it & will give you credit as it is stunning.

Our next Technique Class is Sunday, 27 January if you would like to come along.  The class is catered for anyone, so you do not have to be an experienced stamper.

Until next time, Happy Stamping!

By the Seaside….

…. is a card I saw a little while ago, but cannot remember where I saw it.  Please let me know if you recognise it as I would love to give you credit.

This is one of the cards we will be creating in our Technique Class – Faux Tiles.  As well as doing this technique, we will be concentrating on this beautiful stamp set.

The first class for the 2013 kicks off this Sunday, 13 January 2013.  Details as per below.  If you would like any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Remember, if you can’t make the class, I am more than happy for you to gather a couple of friends together & I will come to you.

Have a great week!
