Scrappy Saturday…

….on a Monday???

I completed this page on Friday, but have only just gotten round to posting it.  I meant to post Saturday, but better late than never.
I’ve stamped random images down the RHS using Pretty-in-Pink Ink.  I then layered the photo in Pretty-in-Pink Cardstock.  It has been so long since I’ve used this colour.
The DSP has been layered onto Concord Crush Cardstock and a Ribbon adhered to the LHS of the DSP.  I stamped the heart image onto Whisper White Cardstock, punched it out using my Heart Punch, punched a hole in it & attached it to the ribbon so that it would hang a little.
Supplies –
Stamp Set – I {Heart} Hearts
Inks – Pretty in Pink
Cardstock – Whisper White, Concord Crush, Pretty in Pink
DSP – Lap of Luxury
Punches – Full Heart Extra Large, Handheld Punch
Ribbon – 1/2″ Stitched-Poly – Concord Crush, Linen Thread
Accessories – Snail Adhesive
Until next time, Enjoy!

Scrappy Saturday…

I’ve created this page for the challenge over at Scrap, Love, Create  This is Maria’s first Scrap Challenge, so thought I would give it ago.  I am hoping that it will force me to create more pages & finally get some scrapbooking completed.
For my page –
I used Not Quiet Navy Cardstock for the main page, cut a piece of DSP – Blueberry Crisp, punched a border & layered a piece of Sahara Sand along the bottom
I then cut a longer & wider pice of Sahara Sand Cardstock & adhered DSP – Blueberry Crisp over the top – as per the sketch
I mounted my photo onto Whisper White Cardstock & then Pacific Point Cardstock & adhered to the top of the DSP
I randomly stamped images onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock using Not Quiet Navy & Sahara Sand inks & punched the corners using my Photo Corner Extra Large Punch
Adhere these to the top right of the photo & bottom left of the photo
For the names, I printed them out using Not Quiet Navy font colour, cut it out & adhered to the middle of my plaque which I had stamped directly onto Whisper White Cardstock & cut out.
The plaque was then adhered underneath the photo
I printed the heading using my printer & Not Quiet Navy font colour, randomly stamped the image along the bottom & sides of the heading, adhered it to Not Quite Navy & Sahara Sand Cardstock
I adhered the heading to the main page
Using the same image & Not Quiet Navy ink, I randomly stamped along the bottom of the page – I think it finishes the page off a little more
For my flowers, I punch 9 Scallop Circle using photocopy paper, randomly stamped them in Not Quiet Navy & Sahara Sand, scrunched them, popped a bit of glue in between the layers, adhered Basic White Peal to the centre & scrunched them again.  I then opened & played with the flowers until such time as I was happy with the look
Adhere these flowers to the DSP on your page

Seeing as though it is May 1 & the beginning of Scrapbooking Month, what better way to start off than with 2 pages for you.
Very basic simple pages, but I wanted them to be that way.  I didn’t want the stamps, etc to take away from the photos.
