Yep, today’s post is one show casing some of the gorgeous DSP & Butterfly Thinlits Dies from the new Occasions Catalogue. Believe me when I say you are going to need this Catalogue. It jammed packed with gorgeous new products & lots of great idea showing you how to use it.
My post today come from the sample in the Catalogue, Page 18.
This is a Frame I did using some of the new DSP – “Painted Blooms”. See how it looks like an abstract painting. Yep, all I did was cut the DSP back to the size I wanted which in this case was 5″ x 7″ & adhered to a piece of Whisper White CS to make it a little bit stronger.
As I wanted it to sit on Naomi’s new crafting desk, I took the “Create” from Stampin’ Up!’s – “Inspire… Create… Share…” & printed it in Soft Sky onto Whisper White CS using MDS. It was then run through the BS using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. I coloured 6 small Pearls with the lightest shade of Melon Mambo Blendibility prior to adhering to each side & then to the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Once it had been placed in the frame, I fell it still needed something, so I then run the middle size Butterfly Thinlits through the BS with Soft Sky & Blushing Bride CS before layering them & adhering them to the front of the frame with Glue Dots. I added Pearls to the centre of the Butterfly.
What do you think? I am seriously thinking of doing the same for myself.
If you would like to get your hands on a copy of this new Catalogue, which goes live tomorrow, then please contact me.
Until next time, Happy Stampin’

What a gorgeous gift, Vicky! I love your addition of the butterfly – I can’t wait until I get mine (I’ll have to make one of these for my own crafting space!) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much Deb. Your comment is very much appreciated & so glad you like it! Enjoy your “stuff” when it arrives!
This is so pretty. I love how you added some extra embellishment to give it a real WOW.
