With Valentine’s Day just round the corner, thought it would be an idea to create a couple of cards, especially since I have a market coming up. It is a very simple easy card. In fact, it has been created with my left overs sitting on my desk waiting to be put back where it all belongs. Sometimes these make the best cards & do seem to come together quickly. If only this was always the case.
I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla Card with the lovely new Embossing Folder Happy Heart prior to adhering to Base Card Very Vanilla. I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss Card with the Embosslit – Scalloped Heart of Hearts (Retired), punched a heart from Very Vanilla Card with the Full Heart Punch (Retired), embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder & adhered to the top of the Blackberry Bliss Heart.
I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread into figure 8’s a couple of times, attached to the back with a Glue Dot & adhered to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. A piece of Gold Glimmer Paper was punched with the 7/8″ Scallop Circle Punch before a small Blackberry Bliss flower, punched from the Itty BItty Accents Punch Pack was adhered to the centre.
“Happy Valentine’s Day” from the Good Greetings Stamp Set, was stamped onto scrap Very Vanilla with Blackberry Bliss, cut into a “Banner” shape & adhere to a piece of Blackberry Bliss Card, which has been cut into a “Banner” shape too. This was adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I adhered a small Pearl to the centre of the flower.
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
