Wildflower Meadow

I had to create a Birthday Card for my Sharon – my brother’s partner, last month so I pulled out the lovely & now slightly 005aa-blogaddictive “Wildflower Meadow” Stamp.  I had my Colour Coach still sitting on my desk from a previous project & went for a colour I don’t usually play with – Island Indigo.  I then decided that I was going to do a bit of a monochromatic look & bring in Pool Party but with a lot of Whisper White.  As I’ve been doing a lot of Heat Embossing, I decided to continue with it & pulled out my Pool Party Embossing Powder.

Once I had completed my Embossing, I found Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon that I have left over & decided to use it on the card.  I then tied a small Bow & adhered to the top with a Glue Dot.  Looking at it, I opted to leave off a greeting & go with what was in front of me.  002n-b;pgSometimes it is better to have a blank card as you can then use it for all occasions.

To finish the card, I coloured a few Pearls with my Blendabilites until I got a colour that was close to Island Indigio & adhered them to the centre of the flowers.

I liked the card so much that I created another & a matching Notebook.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
