I’m challenging myself to create at least page a week until the end of the year so that I will have 12 months worth of photos for my nieces.
Today’s post is one of my great niece “Zoe” & her “Uncle Jess” just before he flew out to Argentina in December. He looks like he is enjoying every moment of feeding Zoe. Zoe was born a week before Christmas – 5 weeks premy & put everyone’s plans out for that week – as they can do.
I kept my page pretty simple, but still trying to keep the page suit for a baby & not become a boy’s page. I picked up the colours of Jess’ shirt & the little pink suit, but opting for Melon Mambo instead of the softer pinks like Pink Pirouette or Blushing Bride.
Once I printed the photo, I adhered it to a layer of Basic Black, printed “Uncle Jess & Me” using MDS onto Whisper White Card, cut a “V” into each end & adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Card # 1 – I ended up using “Everyday Adventure” again. For my journalling card, I cut the Melon Mambo stripe off the larger card & then cut the card down to 3″ x 4″ before adhering the stripe onto the card again. I didn’t want to loose the banners from the Right Hand Side of the card.
Card # 2 – Created by cutting a piece of Whisper White Card to 3″ x 4″, adhered a piece of the Washi Tape from the same pack, cut 3 x different size Banners – 1 x Tempting Turquoise, 1 x Basic Black & 1 x Melon Mambo & adhering to the card. I adhered the small Star, Heart & Circle from the same pack with a Glue Dot, punched a large Star from the scrap of Melon Mambo stripe before adhering to the Banner. I finished the card off by randomly scattering Rhinestones.
Again, a quick & easy page to complete.
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
