A couple of weeks ago I had a request to create a card for someone who was in hospital. Janet especially asked for the type I
After talking for a few minutes, I was told the lady loved singing, was a member of a local Musical Group, had written about 60 songs & could paly a couple of instruments. After hearing how talented this lady was, it could only be one type of card. One with lots of music notes, etc & somehow include flowers.
Not only had it to be a Card in a Box, but big enough for about 20 people to sign, so I sat myself down & played around until I was happy with a template that fitted into an A4 Envelope (Aus). There are heaps of tutorials on how to create these cards, but none the size I wanted.
For the back, I adhered a Treble Clef to a piece of Whisper White Card – enough room for everyone to sign or write a small message.
For the notes, I printed them direct onto Whisper White Card & fussy cut them
After adhering all my notes & flowers I decided it looked a little funny so I took the flowers down & cut some grass from Old Olive Card using the Fringe Scissors. I then repositioned the flowers along the top of the piano & a couple throughout. Much better! The flowers
On the back of the card I typed “Wishing you a Speedy Recovery” & left it blank so that there would be more room for messages & signing.
I’m really happy with the card, especially the pops of Red & yellow. Janet said the Music Group couldn’t believe it when they saw it – they loved it! I only hope the lady that received it loved it too.
Would love to know what you think?
Until next time, Happy Stampin’
