This month we are showcasing all the lovely Packaging that Stampin’ Up!® provide for us in the Catalogues or we could create our own.

You may have arrived from Robbie’s blog where she shared her lovely creation.  If you are starting from my blog, all you have to do is click on the arrow or the Blog Roll below.

I decorated a couple of the Sweet Little Boxes from the 2022 January-June Mini Catalogue, Page 9 for a Stamp Camp.  These ended up being pillow gifts for everyone who purchased the Hello Ladybug Stamp Camp.  They were filled with the fun little beetle chocolates.

A piece of the Heart & Home DSP was adhered to a piece of Basic White before being embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder.  Can you believe I don’t have the Hive 3D Embossing Folder?  This was adhered to a piece of Misty Moonlight & then to the front of the box.

The daisy from the Hello Ladybug Stamp Set was stamped in Daffodil Delight Ink, punched with the Medium Daisy Punch, layered together & then to the right side of the box with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

The sentiment from the same set was stamped in Misty Moonlight Ink, die cut with the banner die from the Tasteful Labels Dies before being adhered to the top of the box.

A couple of White Classic Matte Dots were coloured with the Dark Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blend before being randomly adhered to the front & centre of the daisy.

Perfectly Plaid Chocolate Holder

G’Day Friends,

Thank you for dropping by today.

I have a fun 3D project to share with you.  We are having a 12 Days of Christmas over in our World Card Making FB Group.  I am collabrating with 4 other Stampin’ UP! Demos who are sharing a project of their choice each day up to the 30th November.  Just in time for Christmas.  You are able to join us if you like.

I’ve created a small Chocolate Holder to fit a Guiylan Chocolate.  In fact, this little holder was created for an upcoming Twilight Market I am attending in a couple of weeks.

I’ve used the returning Heartwarming Hugs DSP from the current Mini Catalogue along with the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set & the matching Pine Tree Punch.

To create along with me, here is the video.

G’Day Stampers,

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing their love of Stampin’ Up! You are able to join us if you like, but we do ask that you are a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

I’m first cab off the rank, so to speak but you may have come from Cheryl’s blog where I am sure you enjoyed her lovely creation.

Fable-Friends-1This month is all about “Easter”.  This is the perfect time to get a head start on your Easter projects.

In the end I decided to go with the cute Fable Friends Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalogue, only because it was sitting on my desk!

Now I am not one for doing many 3-D projects, but thought that this little fella called for a basket.

My little bunny has been coloured with Stampin’ Blends, die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits & layered onto a Pear Pizzazz scallop circle which is from the Layering Circles Framelits.

The basket was die cut from a piece of So Saffron with the Wood Crate Framelits, embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Embossing Folder.

Thanks again for visiting my blog. Next up is Sandra.  All you need to do is click the NEXT arrow below the photo.

In the event that you get lost, there is a Roll Call of everyone playing along.  All you have to do is click on the names & you will be taken to their blog.

12 Days of Christmas – Day 7

Today we are back for the 2nd half of the 12 Days of Christmas.

It is also Day 7 of the Aussie version of the “12 Days of Christmas”.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me –

A Cockie in a Bottlebrush Tree,

2 flying Doctors,

3 Drovers watching

4 working dogs

5 golden Ducks

6 Boomers hopping

7 Silos filling”

My project is one we created in our Embossing Paste class a few weeks ago.  Do you recognize it?  I’ve cased it from Page 21 of the Annual Catalogue.  You may also recognize a similar project I shared with you on Day 1 when I created a card.

We actually coloured the Shimmery White Embossing Paste with a touch of Pool Party Refill before applying to the Silver Mini Gable Box.

If you click on the link below, you will be able to download a free tutorial to create your own project.  The tutorial includes both a list of products used to create your project plus measurements (metric & imperial).

Mini Cups…

… of Ferrero Rochers.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Safe & Happy Easter.

You may remember I created some of these way back in December for the local Christmas Fair.  Well, as it happens, they have an Easter Fair on the Good Friday each year, so I went along.

Thinking that they may be popular & a little different to what is on offer I created a heap of them & decided that I would only put a small display out at a time, but have more in hiding if needed.  They were a huge hit & couldn’t keep up the demand.

I originally found the idea on Pinterst sometime ago & for once in my life, had written the instructions on a piece of paper.  Mind you it took me a little bit to find them, but so glad I did.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

To create my cups I’ve used lots of lovely DSP, including – By the Shore, Floral Boutique, Go Wild (retired), Cupcakes & Carousels (2017 Occasions), Affectionately Yours plus a heap of other DSP which is not shown.  For the “saucers” I used coordinating Cardstock which was punched using the 2″ Circle Punch or the Layering Circles Framelits.

To decorate the cups, lots of lovely Punches, Dies & Stamps were used – Blossom Punch, Elegant Butterfly & Bitty Butterfly Punches, Bold Butterfly Framelits, Botanical Builder Framelits, etc plus “Seaside Shore” Stamp Set to name a few.

Be sure to pop back in a couple of days time to check out another lot I created.April

Head over to my Online Shop to check out the 2017 Retirement List & to place your order.  Items are selling out fast!  When placing an order Online, don’t forget to use April’s Host Code.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

2017 Diary

Last week when  a group of us went out for lunch we were a given a small pocket diary.  One of the girls had just been to the Blood Bank, saw them & thought of me (I’m either a little20170312_065326_resized late or very early – like a week), so she grabbed a handful.  I’ve just got to remember to use it & take it with me.

Of course, as we all do, I decided that it needed a bit of a facelift, so I decided to “tissy” it up & make it my own.  The girls won’t see it until our next catch up next month.

I decided to cover it with the “By the Shore” DSP.  Then I thought I would add a few stamps, so I went with the matching “Seaside Shore” Stamp Set.  I stamped the Bubbles & Seaweed onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS with Mint Macaron Ink  & coloured a couple of them with my Blender Pen.  This was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits & layered onto a piece of Dapper Denim which had been punched with my 2″ Circle Punch.

The fish was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla CS in Dapper Denim Ink & adhered to the Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thinking it needed something else, I then decided to place my name at the bottom.  I die cut a couple of letters using “Little Letters” (retired) from scrap Very Vanilla & then from Dapper Denim.  The extra pieces when layered on top of each other, make them stand out a little, especially when using DSP or have a busy background.

To finish it all off, Clear wink of Steller was applied to the letters & fish.

I think the girls will be very impressed when they see it, don’t you?

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Gift Set

Over the past week or so I’ve shared with you the little gift I created for Kathy who signed 20170201_063901_resized_1blup to be a SU! Demo.  I don’t do all my gifts the same as I like to create individually for each one.

Today, I am sharing with you, the Gift Bag created to house those gifts including the card created to go with them.   I created this bag a long time ago & have always loved it.

Again, I’ve used the gorgeous “Falling in Love” DSP from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  I’ve kept it very simple as I wanted the DSP to be the showcase.

I used Soft Sky CS for the base of the bag.  A piece of Sweet Sugarplum CS was embossed with the lovely Falling Petals EF before being adhered to the bottom part of the Bag, while a piece of the DSP was adhered to the top.  The handle has been created from a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon.

I stamped “Just for You” from “So In Love” Stamp Set onto a piece of Very Vanilla CS with Sweet Sugarplum Ink, die cut the circle using the Stitched Shapes Framelits & adhered to a piece of Sweet Sugarplum CS which had been die cut with the Layering Circles Framelits & adhered to the bag where it opened.

The 2 Butterflies were punched from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper using the Bitty Butterfly Punch & the Elegant Butterfly Punch before being adhering to the bag.

I hope you like my creation today.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky

Notebook

You may remember seeing a couple of projects I had created for Kathy last week as part of her welcome to the team when she signed up to become a new SU! Demonstrator.  You can see the previous items here & here.

Well, today is the Notebook I covered for her.  I am loving the final result of the book considering I wasn’t sure how it was going to end up looking like.

I covered the back & spine of the Notebook with Soft Sky CS & the front with a piece of  “Falling in Love” DSP.  I then die cut a piece of Sweet Sugarplum CS with the “So Detailed” Thinlits which is part of the “So in Love” Bundle, page 52 of the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

This was cut back to size & adhered to the front of the Notebook.  I decided the book needed a Bookmark, so I adhered a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon down the side.

Still not happy with it, I then decided to add Kathy’s name to the front.  I die cut her name from the Little Letters Framelits (retired), 3 times in Very Vanilla CS as I wanted her name to pop.  I adhered all the letters onto each other with the top letters being a little off centre.  They were then adhered across the Die.  The book seemed to come alive.

To finish it off, I punched a small butterfly from Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper using the Itty Bitty Punch & adhered it to the top of the Notebook.

Pop back in a couple of days time & I’ll show you what I created to hold everything.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky

Post-It Notes

A part of the small gift I posted off to Kathy (new Downline), were Post-It Notes which I thought would be very handy for her.

Again, I’ve used the lovely “Falling in Love” DSP but teamed it up with a piece of Sweet Sugarplum which was embossed with the “Falling Petals” EF & is part of the “Falling in Love” Suite, Page 51.  The base of the Holder is Soft Sky.

I also punched a Butterfly from the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper with the Bitty Butterfly Punch.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Mini Cups…

… of Ferrero Rochers.  Now who doesn’t love these gorgeous yummy chocolates?  I can’t have them in my house as they would not last 5 minutes.  Lets face it – I LOVE chocolate…..

I found this idea on Pinterst sometime ago but didn’t keep the link, so thank you very much for your inspiration & tutorial.  I’m sure if you googled them, they would come up.  I think I saw a tutorial along the way on You Tube using the Envelope Punch Board but I didn’t use that.  I also made my own spin on them including little doilies or saucers.

As I’ve mentioned I did a Christmas Fair a couple of weeks ago & these were another item very popular with the public.  I also gave them to a group of ladies when we went out for lunch a week or so ago.

These ladies I had not seen since our days in Darwin while in the Navy together.  It was like we had only seen each other yesterday as our conversations carried on where we left off all those years ago.  It is fantastic to have great friends but if you haven’t been in the forces, the friendships formed cannot be truly understood.

Anyhow, I am off the track – Along with “This Christmas” Speciality Paper for my cups, I’ve used the lovely little Stamp Set “Holy Berry Happiness” Bundle from the 2016 Occasions Catalogue and the greeting from “Teeny Tiny Sentiments” Stamp Set.  The little doilies/saucers were created using the “Layering Circles” Framelits.

Aren’t they just too cute?

Until next time, Enjoy!
