I used a stamp set that has been sitting on my shelf for a couple of months now & must admit that it has never seen ink! Today, I decided that I wanted to create a card for one of my nieces & thought this would be perfect for the card.
Not only that I have “killed 2 birds with the 1 stone” – so to speak as I have used our challenge sketch & the colour “Purple” for the card. Half way through I remembered that Amber loves purple, so strike #3! I also decided to flip the sketch on its side so that I could use the stamp. Love it when a plan comes together!
I also did a couple of Techniques on my card – Paper Piecing & Heat Embossing. I’ve actually embossed the image by inking in VersaMark & then Basic Grey prior to stamping the image. I again did the same for the Vases. I stamped the image onto a piece of DSP with VersaMark & Basic Grey & Clear Embossing Powder. You can’t really notice in the photo but looks great in real life.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’
