Happy Birthday

My card today is one I saw on Pinterest & thought it would make a lovely Birthday Card for Di who celebrated her Birthday early on in the month.

As I poste the card before writing a tutorial, I will try & remember how I created the card.

I adhered a piece of Coastal Cabana Card to a Transfer Adhesive Sheet, added the Striped Scallop Thinlit to the top & ran it through the Big Shot.  This saves you a little bit of time & effort by trying to apply adhesive to the back of the cut out Thinlit as the Transfer Adhesive Sheet has already done it for you.

All you have to do, is carefully remove the cut our Scallop & adhere to a same size of Very Vanilla Card prior to adhering to a Very Vanilla Base Card.

I then proceeded to do the same with scrap pieces of Coastal Cabana & Strawberry Slush Card but adhered them randomly to the Card uses Multi-Purpose Glue or even Snail.

The “Birthday Wishes” from “Four You” Stamp Set was stamped onto scrap Very Vanilla in Strawberry Slush Ink, cut with the Die from Project Life Cards & Labels prior to adhering to top of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A very easy, but effective card using scraps of the In Colours that are due to retire this year.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky
