Kinda Eclectic

Heya Stampers,

I set my team a challenge a couple of weeks ago to create a card using the sketch.  Today’s post is my take on the challenge.  I do have another & will share once I’ve found it.#9---2017

As the card went off in the mail about 2 or 3 weeks ago I am going off the photo on how I created it.

A circle was die cut into the middle of a piece of Marina Mist CS using the Layering Circles Framelits, ran through the Big Shot & embossed with the Fluttering EF.

I laid it onto the Base Card Front – Whisper White & drew a circle around the inside of the circle with a pencil – this is so that I had an idea where to stamp.

The images are from the “Kinda Eclectic” Stamp Set (retiring) with the sun So Saffron, the leaf peaking out from the bottom right hand corner Wild Wasabi & the sentiment Early Espresso.  The pencil line was carefully removed using a rubber.

The flower from the “Flower Shop” Stamp Set was stamped onto a piece of scrap Whisper White in Pink Pirouette Ink & punched with the matching Pansy Punch.  A second leaf from the “Kinda Eclectic” Stamp Set was stamped onto a piece of scrap Whisper White in Wild Wasabi  before fussy cutting.

The flower was adhered to the Card Front with Stampin’ Dimensionals while the leaf was adhered just under the flower so that it hung down a little.  I stamped a small butterfly from the same set in So Saffron Ink, punched with the Bitty Punch & adhered to the top of the Window Sheet with a Mini Glue Dot.

To complete my card I randomly scattered Rhinestones around the front, 1 to the middle of the flower & a couple of small ones to the centre of the butterfly.

Why not have a go at creating something using the sketch.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Vicky
