Today’s post is another from our Training weekend last month. 

I’m a little bit happy with this card considering it has been cased from the new Catalogue but with a few changes.  I will say that it was going to start out as the card on Page 10 but then was changed at the last minute & I now the card on Page 171 (sort of).  Does that ever happen to you?

Don’t forget to use your Catalogues are a great source for ideas & inspiration.

We water washed a piece of Shimmery White Card with Sweet Sugarplum & Aqua Painter to get the background.  Seeing it in real life shows a lovely soft shinny background.

The shapes were die cut using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits & adhered to the Card to make them look Faux Die Embossing.  Another use for your Framelits, Thinlits & Punches.
