Welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop. You have just arrived from Pia’s blog so thank you for joining me today.
This month is showcasing the 3 types of crafters/stampers – Beginner, Casual and Avid. This means that we needed to create 3 cards to show you the different stages of crafting.
I created my cards using the lovely Happiness Blooms Suite which is on Page 24 of the 2019 Occasions Catalogue. I’ve used the Bloom by Bloom Stamp Set, Happiness Blooms DSP plus the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to create my cards. All cards have been created with the Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes.
Card #1 – Beginner
With 1 layer cards, I find that it is always best to keep them simple which is what I did with this card. The stem was stamped direct onto the Whisper White Note Card with Call Me Clover Ink while the large flower is Lovely Lipstick Ink. The sentiment is from Butterfly Gala Stamp Set & was stamped in Night of Navy Ink.
Card #2 – Casual
The stamping is exactly the same as Card 1 but was stamped onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock before being layered onto a piece of Calypso Coral & then to the Whisper White Note Card.
To finish it off I randomly scattered 3 x Calypso Coral Enamel Dots.
Card #3 – Avid
Once again I stamped my images & sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock keeping with the same colours. A piece of DSP was cut to about 1 1/4″ in height & adhered to a piece of Calypso Coral so that a small amount is showing along top. This was then adhered to the stamped Whisper White, then layered onto a piece of Calypso Coral & finally to the Whisper White Note Card.
To finish it off, again I added 3 x Calypso Coral Enamel Dots, tied a small bow from Thick Whisper White Baker’s Twine which was adhered to the flower with a Mini Glue Dot.
I sure hope that you have enjoyed these cards & that they have inspired you in some way to play with our products.
