WWYS #112

I found a new challenge blog (new to me) yesterday over at What Will You Stamp?  Theywwys_112_Carousel Birthday list a stamp set to use each challenge which I thought was a little different.  I am just scrapping this card in as the challenge closes in an hour.

This week they are asking that we create a project using the “Carousel Birthday” Stamp Set which is from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

For my card I decided to do the “Chalkboard” Technique which I hadn’t done for sometime.  I always love the finished look of this technique.

Thank you for a great challenge & a change to play with this fantastic set once again.  I have created a couple more cards using this set so don’t forget to pop on back to check them out in the next couple of days.

To purchase your supplies to create your own card, head on over to my Online Shop.   While there, you can also check out the 2017 Retirement List & to place your order.  Items are selling out fast!  Once gone, they are gone forever!  When placing an order Online, don’t forget to use April’s Host Code.

Birthday Boy

My card today is one we created this morning in class.  As it is the school 20170402_092617_resizedblogholidays & there are a couple kids coming along, I thought I would aim the card at the kids while at the same time cater for the adults who will be there too.

My card uses the “Everyday Hero” Stamp Set from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.  I’ve also used the “Festive Birthday” DSP which I am loving.  I chose the colours of Crushed Curry, Whisper White & Emerald Envy as these colours can be for either boys or girls.  By doing this, the class can elect to create their card for a boy or girl.  Along with the “Everyday Hero”, I used the “Custom Tee” Stamp Set for the greeting.  It has a greeting for boys & girls!

Don’t you love the little hat he is wearing?  All I did was fussy cut it from a scrap piece of the DSP.

I do hope they enjoy creating this card as much as I did.

Happy Birthday

Today’s card is one we are creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class this morning.  I hope 20170322_112448_resizedblogthe ladies like it!

I started by caseing the card from the 2017 SAB Catalogue but it sort of went off on its own.  I then found a card on Pinterest that I loved so I ended finishing my card by caseing it.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

I’m loving my Blender Pen at the moment as the new smooth & improved Watercolour Pencils make it so very easy to use.  I also want the class to play with them as they are very interested in different techniques, so look out class, we will be doing lots of lovely techniques in our future classes.

Don’t forget that we only have 7 days until SAB ends for another year.  Grab your Free items when you spend $AUD90.00.  You can place your order by shopping Online or contacting me.  SU! have been very generous once again & added 8 new items to the list for the last 2 weeks.

You can download your FREE Tutorial by clicking on the link below.  The Tutorial includes a List of Supplies used to create the card as well as the Measurements (Metric & Imperial).

Technique Treats #14

This month we are playing with the great techniques of Chalkboard & Shadow Stamping.  If you haven’t had a play with these techniques over the years, this is the perfect time to do so.  This month we have played with our format & made it a little easier for you.

We stuck with the 2017 Occasions Catalogue & teamed the techniques up with the lovely “Carousel BirthdayStamp Set which reminds me so much of the local show with the Ferris Wheel & when the circus came to town with the tent & that gorgeous horse.  In fact, we were always at the grounds of the circus every arvo after school so much so, that they gave us jobs feeding & cleaning the animals.

All 4 cards may be used for Female, Male or for the Kids.

Measurements for all Treats are in Metric & Imperial.  Yep, we cater for everyone no matter where you are in the world.  Supply List includes all Product used to create our cards along with the Item #.

Our Technique Treats are perfect if you want to create in the comfort of your home or if you are a SU! Demonstrator who would love to teach a Technique Class – all the work is done for you!  Just head over to the Technique Treats Page to purchase your Treat.

We would love to hear what you think of the Treats.

Kay (USA) says –  “Thank you so much for making such wonderful tutorials!!!”

Kris (Brisbane) – “Great card and the Technique Treats are really great”.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Happy Birthday

With the school holidays being on, I decided to hold a couple of classes each week until school returns at the end of the month & then we will be doing the adult classes once again.

Much to my surprise they loved it.  The kids were lovely & so happy to be playing with stamps, inks, papers, punches & of course the Big Shot.  I had 1 little girl say all she wanted was her cupcake to pop up like her Aunty……  She squealed with delight when we popped her cake up & just about fell over with excitement & couldn’t wait to show it to her Aunty.  The kids even had the names that they were going to give their cards too.

I saw this card on the internet sometime ago & thought it perfect for them to create.  A little bit of everything.  Unfortunately I am unable to find it again to link back, so a huge thank you for your inspiration.

The card may look a lot to create but breaking it down, you will have it created in no time.
