Once again, Robbie & myself are sharing a project we created 12 months ago but this time using new product to give it a completely different look.

Today’s card is one we created in our Create n’ Chat Class a couple of weeks ago. I actually took the inspiration from the original one. Click on this LINK for all the details . There is also a video on how I created this card.

Stampin’ Up! Silly Goose Colour Combinations #1

G’Day Friends,

This week it was my turn to select the colours so I went for Starry Sky, Blackberry Bliss & Lemon Lime Twist. Colours that are way out of my comforzt zone so who knows where we will end up by the end of the week lol.

I love the Silly Goose Stamp Set but I will admit that it is one that hasn’t really seen ink. So to really challenge me, I decided to let it see the light of day & create a card for you. What do you think?

The paper is Starry Sky from the 2023-2025 In Colour DSP 6 x 6 Pack. I love the designs on these papers.

The balloon was coloured with Clear Wink of Stella along with the Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Marker. You could aways use Ink to colour too.

The bottom of the little feet were masked off prior to stamping the grass twice with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.

Well, we’re onto Week 2 of sharing Masculine Cards throughout August. Where does the time go?

Look at that Rooster? Isn’t he just so proud of himself?

The whole image hasn’t been coloured as I decided to just highlight areas of him with our Stampin’ Blends. You could always colour his body if you wanted. You could also use what you have in your “stash” too for the colouring.

Once again, the layout is very simple with the focus being on the DSP & Rooster.

Bright & Beautiful DSP Day 2

I’ve gone with some of the bright colours taken from the DSP – Lemon Lime Twist & Blueberry Bushel. They’ve been teamed up with Basic White, so how can you go wrong lol.

Look at that cute Ladybug? I decided to make her/him look a little different so the body is Bluberry Bushel while the wings are Lemon Lime Twist with touches of Blueberry Bushel Ink.

During April, Robbie & myself will be sharing our favouite colouring tecniques each Sunday. Not only that, we each have a video on how we did our colouring & created our projects.

I’ve teamed the Soft Pastels with the Whale Done Stamp Set, which is on the Retiring List. Although I am happy to see the Soft Pastels aren’t retiring. I love these little devils so much. There are tons of ways you can use them too. Today’s card is only 2 ways of playing with them.

See the cute turtle? That was coloured with Sponge Daubers & Inks. You can see how I did that in the video too. Don’t you just love the pretty colour of the whale?

Don’t you just love that background? An easy & simple way to create lots of pretty backgrounds for your cards or even scrapbook pages.
