Narrow Note Cards

G’Day stampers,

I have been playing with the cute little Narrow Note Cards along with the Petal Passion DSP both from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.  They are perfect for quick, easy cards.

I cut a piece of the DSP, coloured with Stampin’ Blends Combos of Rich Razleberry, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight (leaves). cut the DSP back to the size, adhered to a piece of Rich Razzleberry & then to the front of the Note Card.  I didn’t worry about a sentiment on the front as I like them the way they are.

How easy is that?  Do you have them on your wish list?

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Wood Words – Thank You

Wood-Words---Close-Up1

I created a couple of Thank You Cards last week for my customers of which most have already been posted (forgot to take photos) but I do have a couple that I will use for the remainder of September.  I’ve used the Wood Words Stamp Set.

Wood-Words---Lemon-Lime-TwiThey were all created with the 2017-2019 In Colours & the lovely fantastic Note Cards & Envelopes – Whisper White, Page 195 of the Annual Catalogue.  Along with the In Colours I also used Sahara Sand which worked perfectly with the colours.  I am loving these for quick & simple cards.

The first lot of cards sent out were stamped directly onto the Note Card itself while the next lot of cards had a layer of contrasting In Colour CS.  My samples today have Lemon Lime Twist & Berry Burst.

All I did was randomly stamp my images in Sahara Sand & Lemon Lime Twist onto a piece of Whisper White CS.  The sentiment is from the same set & stamped direct onto the Card in Lemon Lime Twist.  I then layered it onto a piece of Lemon Lime Twist CS beforeWood-Words---Berry-Burst adhering to the Note Card.

My 2nd card I am showing you is the Berry Burst one which was created exactly the same way.

I repeated the same process for the other cards but substituting the In-Colours each time.

I’m not too sure which one is my favourite as I am loving these In-Colours.  Which is your favourite?

Until next time, Happy Stampin!

Summer Note Cards

With summer being around the corner in Australia (well, we don’t really have winter where I am), I thought I would share with you a small sneak peek at one of the cute sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2016 Holiday Catalogue.  It is one of my favourite perks about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, being able to see and order new product before it’s released!  AND believe me, the new Holiday Catalogue will not disappoint.

The little Cards are about 3 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ in size.  Enough to write a small note to accompany the new Catalogues.

I sponged Crumb Cake onto a piece of Whisper White Card for the sand & then Soft Sky for the Sky.  I wanted the sponging to be very light so that I could still write on the card.

For all my little cards, I stamped the Umbrella from the “Day by the Beach” Stamp Set directly onto the card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.  I then stamped it again onto scrap Whisper White Card before colouring  with my Blender Pen, Watermelon Wonder, Daffodil Delight & Marina Mist Inks.  The top of the umbrella was fussy cut prior to layering onto the Sponged Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I then stamped the Starfish, Bucket & Spade, Thongs (love that we now have a pair of thongs in our collection) & Hat Images onto scrap Whisper White Card in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink & coloured with Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight & Watermelon Wonder Inks along with my Blender Pen.

The images were fussy cut & adhered to the Card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The cards were then layered onto a piece of Soft Sky Card.

I think they represent our Australian summer to a “T”, but would love to hear what you think?

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Stampin’ Up! Note Cards….

The challenge over at Late Nite Stampers is to creste a card, 3-D Project, srcapbook page, etc using the colours of –

Aren’t these lovely colours?  I know myself, I can’t get enough of Pink Pirouette & have to stop myself from using it everytime I go to create a card.  Seeing these colours brings so many possibilities to mind, but sat myself down & created a small set of Note Cards.

This challenge come at the right moment as I am out of Note Cards.  I don’t know about anyone else, but I LOVE these little cards.  I would quiet happily sit all day & create sets of these.  They come in so handy too as I use them for everything & always have a stack sitting in my envelope drawer….

I created 6 in all, 2 in Lucky Limeade, 2 in Pink Pirouette & 2 in Rich Razzleberry.  I thought about doing more, but I like to mix them up a bit, so was happy with the 6.  I also brought the 3 colours together with the inks.
