Hey Stampers,

My card today is one we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class last Friday.  Please feel free to come along each Friday morning at 9.30am at the Community Hall.

I’ve been trying to create & showcase some of the lovely product that will be retiring at the end of May & today is no different.  I’ve used the cute little Stamp Set – “You’re Sublime”.  I love this set & always get a bit of a kick when using it.

To colour my sub I’ve used So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Mint Macaron, Pool Party & Peekaboo Peach Inks along with my Blender Pen.  The little hearts have been coloured using the Real Red Watercolour Pencils.

As Mint Macaron is a 2015-2017 In Colour, it will be retiring this year.  I will really miss this colour as it is one of “go to” colours.

219. You’re Sublime

Today’s post is a little late.  I can’t seem to get my act together even though my card was created way ahead of time.

I’ve used the “Carried Away” DSP along with the “Any Occasion” Stamp Set, both from Sale-a-Bration.   I did get my inspiration from a card on Page 15 of the Catalogue but then used our sketch we have for our team to play with.  I teamed the Stamp Set & DSP with the matching “Up & Away” Framelits from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue.

209. Hello – Any Occasion

Today’s card is one we are creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class this morning.  I hope the ladies like it!

I started by caseing the card from the 2017 SAB Catalogue but it sort of went off on its own.  I then found a card on Pinterest that I loved so I ended finishing my card by caseing it.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

I’m loving my Blender Pen at the moment as the new smooth & improved Watercolour Pencils make it so very easy to use.  I also want the class to play with them as they are very interested in different techniques, so look out class, we will be doing lots of lovely techniques in our future classes.

202. Happy Birthday – Tasty Trucks

My card I am sharing with you today was created for a challenge but as usual, completely forgot to post it.  Well, to be honest, I couldn’t find what challenge I did it for.  Does that ever happen to you?

I’ve used the lovely “By the Shore” DSP & the co-ordinating “Seaside Shore” Stamp Set.  I teamed it up with Dapper Denim & Very Vanilla Card.  Inks were Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim & Calypso Coral.  My Blender Pen was used to colour parts of the “coral”.

I am sharing a card today that was created for one of our Technique Treats #8 – “Faux Linen” – 2 ways where we used the lovely stamp set “A Day at the Beach” which is from the 2016 Holiday Catalogue.

I’ve done lots of sponging – moon, waves & sand.  The dolphin, thongs & ball have been coloured with Inks & Blender Pen. I’ve adhered them to the Card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I’ve used the Faux Linen Technique on the Basic Black Background.

There is so much potential with the lovely little stamp set.
