G’Day Stampers,

Thank you for joining me today as I am once again playing along with the May Stamp ‘N Hop blog hop where we are saying goodbye to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalgue. This way we get to play with some of our favourites one last time May-2019---Goodby-to-the-ol .

We are a group of SU! Demos from all over the world sharing their love of Stampin’ Up! We would love for you to join us if you like, but we do ask that you are a current SU! Demo & that you use current SU! products.

I wanted to play with Lovely as a Tree but of course when the time come couldn’t put my hand on it. So I opted for Sheltering Tree which is another retiring. I’ve teamed it up with the 2017-2019 In Colours which are also going!

The tree was stamped in Fresh Fig – only in error – but I love it! The leaves were inked in Lemon Lime Twist & then Fresh Fig & Tranquil Tide daubed on with a Sponge Dauber.

Country Floral EF

Today’s card is one we created in our class last Friday using the Country Floral Dynamic Embossing Folder. It was part of Sale-A-Bration but a few of the ladies wanted a class Country-Floral-1---Inside using this lovely Folder.

To create the effect on the folder I’ve dragged Powder Pink Ink across the raised edges of the embossed Powder Pink Cardstock until I was happy with the depth of colour. The Ribbon is the 3/8″ Shimmer Powder Pink.

Day 12 – Animal Expedition

G’Day Stampers,

Sorry I missed yesterday – life just goes that way sometimes.

So, today I am sharing with you the 2nd card using the fun Animal Expedition DSP which Animal Expedition - 19.25 is part of the “Buy 3, Get 1 FREE” promotion. There are only 3 days left to take advantage of this.

This suite is close to my heart as it brings back so many happy memories. My Dad worked out of town during the week which meant he left Sunday arvos & would be home Friday night.

We would all “help” him to back his swag Sunday although looking back I think we were more of a hindrance than a help but he didn’t seem to mind.

Anyhow, usually when he arrived home on the Friday night, he would sometimes carefully place his ?moving” swag on the floor which meant there was something usually Animal-Expedition-1---Insid alive in it. With excited anticipation we would gently unwrap it to find a joey wrapped up safe & sound fully aware that its mother had been killed. Dad never went past a dead animal on the side of the road without checking for a pouch. He still stops & checks to this day which means I now do the same!

Our yard was always full of orphaned joeys, lambs, birds, etc but my favourite was & still is the kangaroo. Imagine my surprise when SU! brought out this fantastic Animal Expedition Suite! I think it was just for me!

Anyhow, I decided to keep the card simple although I’ve used a few bright colours of Berry Burst & Lemon Lime Twist to create my card. I’ve toned the colours down by adding a little Vellum over the top of the DSP.

My card this arvo showcases the Share What You Love Suite highlighting the A Little More, Please Bundle. Just a small reminder that this Bundle is only available until the 31 May but the product will still be available once the new catalogue goes live.

G’Day & welcome to the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop where this month’s theme is New Annual Sneak Peek! Who doesn’t love seeing sneak peeks & what is coming up in the new catalogue? I know I do!

My inspiration came from a couple of sources. One being a challenge that our FB Group has going as well as a sample in the new catalogue. Mind you, it wasn’t planned that way. It is just the way things pan out sometimes.

For my card I’ve used the Bubble Over Stamp Set along with the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits which are both returning. I’ve teamed it up with the 2018-2020 In Colour 6″ x 6″ DSP. Oh how I love this DSP with all the lovely dots & stripes! I’ve also used lots of lovely In Colours – Lemon Lime Twist, Grapefruit Grove, Blueberry Bushel & Berry Burst Inks.
