Stampin’ Blends are Here….

You've-Got-This-1---Close-U

By now you are probably aware that Stampin’ Blends are now available for everyone.  I have to say that I am loving them & so will you!

My card is one I sent off in the mail yesterday to thank a friend (one I went to school with & haven’t seen for many years) for a special service we attended a couple of days ago.  I do hope she likes it!

The card has actually been cased from Page 10I of the Annual Catalogue.  Mind you, it You've-Got-This-1---Insidedoesn’t look anything like the original but it was a good starting point as I wanted it to be happy & bright, plus I wanted to play with the Stampin’ Blends.

To create my card, I used the Light Calypso Coral to colour the flowers followed by the Dark Daffodil Delight & then the Light Daffodil Delight.  I’m loving how they turned out.  The leaves were created using the leaf image from Painted Harvest & punched with the coordinating Leaf Punch.  Both are available in the 2017 Holiday Catalogue & are available as a Bundle.

Although I have used a couple of items that have retired (easily replaced by current product) I’m very happy with my card today, but please let me know what you think.

If you click on the link above the card, you will be able to download a tutorial so that you can create your own.  It includes all the measurements (metric & imperial) along November-2017with a list of products.

Just a Note…

G’Day Stampers,

Today, I am sharing with you another card that went in the mail last week celebrating World Card Making Day..  In fact I liked these so much that I actually created a couple of them which doesn’t happen very often.

I actually saw a card on Pinterest sometime ago similar to this one, but of course now I can’t find it.  If you recognise it, please let me know so that I can give you credit.  Thank you so much for your inspiration.

For my Base Card I’ve used the Note Card & Envelopes available in Whisper White & Very Vanilla.  Did you take advantage to purchase them when they were on special?  I know I did!

I die cut a piece of Whisper White CS using the Swirly Scribles Thinlits before adhering a piece of Window Sheet behind the top & bottom part of the card.  I then decided to add a piece of the Delightful Daisy DSP behind the see through section.  Once this was done, I then Inlaid the die shape back into the card & trimming the excess Window Sheet from the sides & bottom.

Just a Note… is from the set Better Together & was stamped on the top part of the Card in Night of Navy Ink as was the flower.  The leaf & flower are both from the  Daisy Delight Stamp Set & was stamped in Old Olive, stamping off once for the solid image prior to stamping the outline.

The whole piece was then layered onto a piece of Calypso Coral CS & then to the Base Card.

It’s a very simple little card but one I hope the receiver will like.October

G’Day Stampers,

I’ve been quite the last week, needed to take a little downtime but now I’m back.

As you are probably aware, Saturday was World Card Making Day but this year I’ve taken it 1 step further & decided to celebrate for the whole of October!  This means that I’ve created a pile of cards using the gorgeous Note Cards & Envelopes which are on special up to 10 October to post or hand out to random family, friends, neighbours, customers, etc.  Today’s card is using the Whisper White set.  These Cards & Envelopes are my “go to” supply!  Love them!

I’ve used the Daisy Delight Stamp Set & the Daisy Punch on my card.  Don’t forget the Stamp Set is on special up to 10 October.  The Bundle (yes, available in a Bundle) was teamed up with Night of Navy, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight Inks.  The circle was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits  & then sponged with Daffodil Delight & a Stamping Sponge before being adhered to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I left the front blank as I wanted the receiver to be able to reuse the card for any occasion by forwarding it on.

If you click on the link “World Card Making Day” you will see what other product is on special BUT ONLY up to 10 October.

Until next time, Happy Stampin’

Holly Berry Christmas…

Holly-Berry-Hapiness---Clos

… meets “Christmas in the Making” which is on Page 16 of the 2017 Holiday Catalogue.  I love it when I can get multiple uses from my stamps.

I actually love the “Feeling of Christmas” on the same page but left it too late for my order Holly-Berry-Happiness---Insto arrive in time for the class, so I set about trying to recreate the card on Page 17 of the Catalogue using one of my sets in my stash.  I think I did it, although a little different, but different is good!

My card today is one of the 2 we created in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class.  I am happy to say the ladies loved it!

The Crumb Cake CS has been embossed with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic TIEF while the wreath has been coloured & blended with Old Olive Ink & my Blender Pen.

Painted Harvest Suite

Painted-Harvesta---Close-Up

I am sharing with you today one of the cards we will be creating in our “Cards @ Toogoom” class.  We would love for you to come along & create with us.

I saw this fold over on Pinterest a little while ago but now of course I am unable to find the link, but I managed to do one better & actually found the blog.  Thank you so much Jeanie for your inspiration even though it was one created in error, I loved that it was so different!

I’ve used the lovely Painted Harvest Suite to create our card.  The Suite includes the Painted Harvest Stamp Set, Leaf Punch which can be purchased as a Bundle & the Painted Autumn DSP.  It took me a little time to actually purchase this set, but I must tell you, it is so much fun playing with it.  I especially love the fact that it gives you a gorgeous watercolur look to all your creations.

Tips to help you with the 2-Step Stampin’ set –Painted-Harvesta---Fancy-Fo

  1. Stamp the centre first.  This helps to centre your flower
  2. Stamp the larger flower next but in a lighter contrasting ink.  This flower will look like it may be missing part of the stamp, but this is ok
  3. Stamp the smaller flower 2nd & in a darker contrasting ink.  You will be amazed at how the flower will come together
  4. For more definition, stamp the larger flower once again in the same colour ink as the first time.  Your flower will just about pop off your Card

I do hope the ladies are going to love creating this card.

By clicking on on the link below, you will be able to download a tutorial to create your own card.

SeptemberIf you pop back in a few days time, I will also share with you another one I created using the same fold.
